Some rulers were outright idol worshipers and some 28 00:03:09.280 --> 00:03:14.000 rulers did what they could to honor the Lord to make Yahweh the preeminence. So when you have Uzziah, he started at the age of 16 and he did what was right before the Lord, 30 00:03:22.320 --> 00:03:28.480 practically his entire life. And I say practically because he only had one faux pas at the very end 31 00:03:28.480 --> 00:03:33.840 of his life due to pride. But it wasn't because he turned from the Lord. Isaiah experienced a deep sense of loss for his nation and his people. There was fear.
