they were pushed out, socially ostracized, financially out, they 52 00:03:51.000 --> 00:03:57.240 weren't even allowed to barter or trade in the market, and so I mean they had it a lot 53 00:03:57.240 --> 00:04:02.360 worse than any Christians in America today, and we like to complain, but we have, it's 54 00:04:02.360 --> 00:04:04.400 still wonderful compared to them. 55 00:04:04.400 --> 00:04:09.360 And so this was a group of Christians that were on the verge of forsaking the Lord. 56 00:04:09.360 --> 00:04:15.000 And so this would be the word of the Lord to you in a time of get in the boat, I'd try to find a little place where 92 00:06:45.360 --> 00:06:48.600 there was some brush, they would cast some shade, I knew that's where the fish were, in 93 00:06:48.600 --> 00:06:52.640 the middle of the day hiding out in the shade, and I'd cast my line, and then after about 94 00:06:52.640 --> 00:06:57.680 10 minutes I was just looking at the line, I looked around, I and your whole house, simple gospel message. 109 00:07:46.200 --> 00:07:51.080 But just reverse that question, what must I do to be lost? 110 00:07:51.080 --> 00:07:56.280 And the answer is nothing. but the whole time I just felt so dirty, you know 134 00:09:48.160 --> 00:09:53.520 and I was just like, oh no, oh Lord, I didn't do anything crazy but you got a little looser 135 00:09:53.520 --> 00:09:58.640 than I should have, don't try to picture that, it's not a pretty sight and I remember 136 00:09:58.640 --> 00:10:03.640 thinking like, you know and I ran back to church, the people that, you know what I'm 137 00:10:03.640 --> 00:10:08.360 talking about, am I still saved and do I have to get resaved and do I have to get 138 00:10:08.360 --> 00:10:16.880 born again again, no, no you're saved and should you fall, you fall saved and the Bible 139 00:10:16.880 --> 00:10:23.200 says the righteous man falls down seven times but each time gets back up again. 140 00:10:23.200 --> 00:10:28.320 If your life is a mess right now, I know this that if you would just keep your eyes on 141 00:10:28.320 --> 00:10:33.240 Jesus, do not allow yourself to get condemned because the blood of is writing about, he's saying God forbid but because you have been 149 00:11:08.080 --> 00:11:16.440 set free and because he loves you no matter what anyway, he, his was Jesus said he who 150 00:11:16.440 --> 00:11:19.720 is forgiven much also loves much. 151 00:11:19.720 --> 00:11:26.240 So within you is awakened this love for the Lord and it breaks the power of sin off of 152 00:11:26.240 --> 00:11:33.520 your life but nevertheless there is a warning in the Scriptures while your activity cannot 153 00:11:33.520 --> 00:11:34.520 unsave you. 154 00:11:34.520 --> 00:11:38.640 By the way, if you're living a totally reprobate life and you called yourself a Christian 155 00:11:38.640 --> 00:11:45.400 and you go and sin and don't even feel anything, I question your faith because you cannot 156 00:11:45.400 --> 00:11:51.240 have a living faith in the Lord if you're consistently living wrong and don't even care. 157 00:11:51.240 --> 00:11:57.840 Then that's evidence of a faith that's withered up and died. 158 00:11:57.840 --> 00:12:04.600 The evidence of an active faith is a passion for the Lord and the things of the Lord but 159 00:12:04.600 --> 00:12:08.280 in with a bag full of different tools, his number one tool would be discouragement 162 00:12:19.840 --> 00:12:26.760 to chip away at the heart of the people of God so that they slowly drift the way
