Not just the 12, but that's for us. 29 00:02:22.000 --> 00:02:29.000 And we find ourselves in Queens where there's 161 nations in the borough of Queens. 30 00:02:29.000 --> 00:02:35.000 So we don't even need a passport, we can go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 31 00:02:35.000 --> 00:02:39.000 And when we go to Guatemala, like you heard last Sunday, 32 00:02:39.000 --> 00:02:46.000 but that's just because it's so fun to go to. 33 00:02:46.000 --> 00:02:51.000 I'm just chuckling because, you know, I've been going for 17 years now. 34 00:02:51.000 --> 00:02:55.000 So I asked Pastor Mike, Mike McComb, I said, you know, in that village, 35 00:02:55.000 --> 00:02:59.000 we're all the little kids that I got saved. 36 00:02:59.000 --> 00:03:04.000 And he said, well, I know a bunch of them are putting up drywall in New York City. 37 00:03:04.000 --> 00:03:09.000 Okay. All right. Got that. They could come by and say, thank you. 38 00:03:09.000 --> 00:03:14.000 Visit, you know. Amen. 39 00:03:14.000 --> 00:03:23.000 But he who believes in his baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. 40 00:03:23.000 --> 00:03:26.000 And these signs will follow those who believe. 41 00:03:26.000 --> 00:03:30.000 In my name, they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues. 42 00:03:30.000 --> 00:03:39.000 Isn't that awesome that Jesus, he prophesied and spoke forth that his followers will be speaking in tongues. 43 00:03:39.000 --> 00:03:43.000 And that's just important to note, because sometimes the way tongues is presented 44 00:03:43.000 --> 00:03:47.000 or the way tongues is understood by other Christians from other denominations, 45 00:03:47.000 --> 00:03:52.000 it's like this weird esoteric thing that certain fringe groups do. 46 00:03:52.000 --> 00:03:58.000 And it's not. It's all throughout the book of Acts. 47 00:03:58.000 --> 00:04:02.000 Paul, he gave a good lesson on speaking in tongues and he finished it, 48 00:04:02.000 --> 00:04:06.000 capped it off by saying, don't forbid people to speak in tongues. 49 00:04:06.000 --> 00:04:10.000 And then even Jesus, I mean, he's talking about all miraculous stuff, right? 50 00:04:10.000 --> 00:04:13.000 Because tongues means languages, just in case somebody thinks, well, 51 00:04:13.000 --> 00:04:17.000 he was talking about, you know, missionaries studying and learning five, six, seven, eight languages. 52 00:04:17.000 --> 00:04:19.000 No, that was happening back then. 53 00:04:19.000 --> 00:04:23.000 There's nothing supernatural about hitting the books and learning other languages. 54 00:04:23.000 --> 00:04:27.000 The supernatural is that when you supernaturally speak in other tongues, 55 00:04:27.000 --> 00:04:31.000 they will take up serpents and if they drink anything deadly, 56 00:04:31.000 --> 00:04:34.000 it will by no means hurt them. 57 00:04:34.000 --> 00:04:36.000 And this is what I just wanted to share with you on healing. 58 00:04:36.000 --> 00:04:40.000 It says, they will lay hands on the sick and they will, they will. 59 00:04:40.000 --> 00:04:42.000 Recover. 60 00:04:42.000 --> 00:04:47.000 Now, recover means grow well. 61 00:04:47.000 --> 00:04:53.000 Grow well over time. 62 00:04:53.000 --> 00:04:57.000 Now, this is what I've experienced personally, what I've experienced, 63 00:04:57.000 --> 00:05:01.000 praying for people and seeing people some receive healing, 64 00:05:01.000 --> 00:05:04.000 some don't receive healing. 65 00:05:04.000 --> 00:05:08.000 And I just think it's important for us to acknowledge this. 66 00:05:08.000 --> 00:05:13.000 I believe that like 85% plus of healings that happen 67 00:05:13.000 --> 00:05:21.000 is under this category of grow well, recover over time. 68 00:05:22.000 --> 00:05:25.000 As opposed to an instant miracle. 69 00:05:25.000 --> 00:05:27.000 Now, why is that important just to talk about? 70 00:05:27.000 --> 00:05:30.000 And a lot of preachers, they don't like talking about it, 71 00:05:30.000 --> 00:05:37.000 because oftentimes it's just not as spectacular when it happens over time. 72 00:05:37.000 --> 00:05:39.000 And I'm not talking about over natural time, 73 00:05:39.000 --> 00:05:43.000 like if you got the 72 hour flu and it goes away in 72 hours, 74 00:05:43.000 --> 00:05:45.000 it's not supernatural. 75 00:05:45.000 --> 00:05:50.000 If you grow well and recover within six hours, now we're cooking, amen. 76 00:05:51.000 --> 00:05:56.000 And oftentimes, the healings that are highlighted 77 00:05:56.000 --> 00:06:02.000 are with the giant choir behind the preacher singing near my God to thee, 78 00:06:02.000 --> 00:06:07.000 the spotlights, the lasers, and you came in, you couldn't walk, boom, 79 00:06:07.000 --> 00:06:11.000 now you can walk, and everybody feels then subconsciously, 80 00:06:11.000 --> 00:06:13.000 that's the only way healing comes. 81 00:06:13.000 --> 00:06:16.000 That it has to be instantaneous, it has to be miraculous, 82 00:06:16.000 --> 00:06:19.000 it has to happen right away, or when they don't receive it right away, 83 00:06:19.000 --> 00:06:21.000 they feel, oh, I guess I just didn't receive. 84 00:06:21.000 --> 00:06:23.000 And then they shut their faith off. 85 00:06:25.000 --> 00:06:29.000 Yet every time God has healed me, and years ago, 86 00:06:29.000 --> 00:06:35.000 I was in constant pain, for hernated discs, non-stop pain. 87 00:06:37.000 --> 00:06:41.000 And the Lord healed me over, over, over a course of, 88 00:06:41.000 --> 00:06:45.000 I'd say a couple of months, and it was by me clinging in faith 89 00:06:45.000 --> 00:06:48.000 and just speaking healing out of my mouth. 90 00:06:49.000 --> 00:06:52.000 And you got to get to this place where you start getting good 91 00:06:52.000 --> 00:06:53.000 at using your faith. 92 00:06:53.000 --> 00:06:56.000 You say, how do I get to a place where I'm good at using my faith? 93 00:06:56.000 --> 00:06:58.000 Practice. 94 00:06:58.000 --> 00:07:00.000 Practice makes perfect. 95 00:07:00.000 --> 00:07:02.000 You know, in the beginning, you really don't know what you're doing, 96 00:07:02.000 --> 00:07:05.000 and you're trying to believe, and it's awkward and it's clumsy. 97 00:07:05.000 --> 00:07:07.000 That's all right. 98 00:07:07.000 --> 00:07:10.000 You start off awkward, clumsy, just like I started off, 99 00:07:10.000 --> 00:07:13.000 learning to ride a bike, and you're trying to believe. 100 00:07:13.000 --> 00:07:16.000 We even have a scriptural precedent for that, the one guy who said, 101 00:07:16.000 --> 00:07:19.000 believe, help me with my unbelief. 102 00:07:19.000 --> 00:07:21.000 It's trying to believe. 103 00:07:21.000 --> 00:07:24.000 But you move from trying to believe to where there's a settling 104 00:07:24.000 --> 00:07:26.000 in your spirit. 105 00:07:26.000 --> 00:07:30.000 And the word of God is yes and amen, and it's real to you, 106 00:07:30.000 --> 00:07:34.000 and you've merged with it, and now you know that you know 107 00:07:34.000 --> 00:07:37.000 that you are healed, even though nothing may have changed 108 00:07:37.000 --> 00:07:41.000 in your body, but you have received that truth, 109 00:07:41.000 --> 00:07:45.000 and you are firm in standing on that truth, and then you persist in that. 110 00:07:45.000 --> 00:07:48.000 Now, you're believing that you're healed, yet pain comes 111 00:07:48.000 --> 00:07:51.000 with a very loud speaker, comes with a megaphone in your ear, 112 00:07:51.000 --> 00:07:56.000 and you're going to have blaring pain, or blaring doctors report, 113 00:07:56.000 --> 00:07:58.000 and that'll mess with your faith. 114 00:07:58.000 --> 00:08:00.000 And you learn how to overcome that. 115 00:08:00.000 --> 00:08:03.000 You cling to the word more than you do the doctors report. 116 00:08:03.000 --> 00:08:08.000 You cling to the truth of God's word more than you do the incest and pain. 117 00:08:08.000 --> 00:08:12.000 And you will see that then supernaturally, 118 00:08:12.000 --> 00:08:16.000 yet in the course of time, you grow well. 119 00:08:16.000 --> 00:08:18.000 Hallelujah. 120 00:08:18.000 --> 00:08:22.000 Now, most of Jesus' healings were instant miracles, 121 00:08:22.000 --> 00:08:24.000 because he's awesome like that. 122 00:08:24.000 --> 00:08:27.000 But there were also times, like with the ten lepers, 123 00:08:27.000 --> 00:08:31.000 where it says, as they went, they were cleansed. 124 00:08:31.000 --> 00:08:33.000 Over the course of time, amen. 125 00:08:33.000 --> 00:08:37.000 So, I just want to just say this also real quick to the woman 126 00:08:37.000 --> 00:08:40.000 that I spoke to before service. 127 00:08:40.000 --> 00:08:43.000 Acts 15, I believe it is. 128 00:08:43.000 --> 00:08:46.000 15 or 14? 129 00:08:46.000 --> 00:08:48.000 14. 130 00:08:48.000 --> 00:08:51.000 A woman I never met before, and I feel like the Lord wants you to know this, 131 00:08:51.000 --> 00:08:55.000 and in Lister a certain man without strength and his feet was sitting, 132 00:08:55.000 --> 00:08:59.000 a cripple from his mother's womb and had never walked. 133 00:08:59.000 --> 00:09:01.000 This man heard Paul speaking. 134 00:09:01.000 --> 00:09:06.000 Now, Paul, cripple man, Paul observing him, 135 00:09:06.000 --> 00:09:13.000 the sick man, and seeing that he had faith to be healed. 136 00:09:13.000 --> 00:09:17.000 When you've been around the block a few times, 137 00:09:17.000 --> 00:09:22.000 you can see faith on people. 138 00:09:22.000 --> 00:09:24.000 And you can see who has faith to be healed. 139 00:09:24.000 --> 00:09:26.000 And to that woman, I just want you to know, 140 00:09:26.000 --> 00:09:28.000 we only spoke for like 20 seconds, 141 00:09:28.000 --> 00:09:29.000 but I walked away. 142 00:09:29.000 --> 00:09:31.000 You were radiating faith? 143 00:09:31.000 --> 00:09:32.000 Come on. 144 00:09:32.000 --> 00:09:35.000 I know that I know that you will be well. 145 00:09:35.000 --> 00:09:38.000 Hallelujah. 146 00:09:38.000 --> 00:09:40.000 I think it's only her second or third time here, 147 00:09:40.000 --> 00:09:42.000 she just quickly shared with me. 148 00:09:42.000 --> 00:09:45.000 But I walked away going, this woman is healed of the Lord. 149 00:09:45.000 --> 00:09:47.000 And it's with such an unfortunate, 150 00:09:47.000 --> 00:09:49.000 I don't do that with everyone. 151 00:09:49.000 --> 00:09:52.000 Sometimes someone goes, because she made this sweet positive confession, 152 00:09:52.000 --> 00:09:54.000 I'm healed, but there's Christians who go, 153 00:09:54.000 --> 00:09:58.000 but you know, I'm sick, but you know, I'm healed. 154 00:09:58.000 --> 00:10:01.000 Like, what, what is this again?
