1
00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:06.100
Whenever I pray to God, I dare not come by myself.

2
00:00:06.100 --> 00:00:14.500
No, when you say Father in the name of Jesus, what you're saying is Father, I'm coming to you, but I'm not coming alone.

3
00:00:14.500 --> 00:00:26.000
I'm coming to you in the name of Jesus, in what He has done, what He has accomplished for me, He's removed all of my sin, and He's given me His righteousness.

4
00:00:26.000 --> 00:00:35.000

6
00:00:44.000 --> 00:00:52.000
Pastor Boyan Jansik and his team believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is already working in our hearts and minds.

7
00:00:52.000 --> 00:01:03.000
As you listen to today's teaching, remember that you are deeply loved by God, that you are surrounded by His grace, and that He has a real hope and a future for you.

8
00:01:06.000 --> 00:01:16.000
I got a word I want to bring you this morning, and I want to ask you a question, what are you believing God for right now?

9
00:01:17.000 --> 00:01:30.000
It's something that I feel the Lord provoked me and asked me often, and sometimes when in prayer He asked me that I realized, oh, I'm not really believing you for anything.

10
00:01:30.000 --> 00:01:37.000
I'm hoping for a lot of things. I mean, everybody saved or unsaved has their hopes if you stop them on the street. What are you hoping?

11
00:01:37.000 --> 00:01:45.000
Well, I'm hoping for world peace. I'm hoping that I'm a billionaire. I'm hoping that I'll live happily ever after. I mean, everybody's got their hopes.

12
00:01:45.000 --> 00:01:58.000
And hope, the thing with hope is great, but it's always in the future. Faith says I have it now. Faith is you agreeing with God's word and what it says about you, and you're saying I have it now.

13
00:01:59.000 --> 00:02:11.000
And our tendency is to kind of go down the path of least resistance because there is a bit of a battle with faith. In fact, any battle you have, it should be in the arena of faith, not outside of it.

14
00:02:11.000 --> 00:02:21.000
So we can get a little axidazical and just kind of coast and just hope. But you show me what you're saying. I'll show you what you're believing.

15
00:02:22.000 --> 00:02:28.000
What you're saying and how you're speaking about yourself and your life is going to reveal what you're actually believing.

16
00:02:28.000 --> 00:02:42.000
And I've felt now for several months, if you've noticed the pattern and what's been being preached from the pulpit, other than a few interruptions for several months, I feel like the Lord has put in my hand this hot poker.

17
00:02:42.000 --> 00:02:53.000
And I just got to come and stir up the embers a little bit and I can only perceive in the spirit that this is God wanting to get something to you and you need to align yourself with that.

18
00:02:53.000 --> 00:03:04.000
And the way he's going to get something to you, the way you're going to receive is the way you've received anything you've ever received from God. And that's by faith. Hallelujah.

19
00:03:05.000 --> 00:03:23.000
So let's begin this journey in Hebrews chapter 4 and verse 14. This is a cryptic slash mysterious slash obscure verse because it shows us Jesus post resurrection in heaven.

20
00:03:23.000 --> 00:03:32.000
Now let me just pause here and ask you when you think of Jesus in heaven, how do you envision him? I found at least with me, I don't know about you.

21
00:03:32.000 --> 00:03:44.000
I get a lot of my doctrine or I got a lot of my doctrine, a lot of my imaginings about Jesus from like Christian art and not even good Christian art.

22
00:03:45.000 --> 00:03:56.000
Like what the poster at the Christian bookstore shows me or a hallmark card, like when you imagine Jesus in heaven, what does he look like?

23
00:03:56.000 --> 00:04:09.000
Is it the Jesus that has a lamb around his shoulders who's walking through a meadow of flowers? Kind of distant stoic, a loof? Is it? It was for me. I always wondered what's he up to up there?

24
00:04:10.000 --> 00:04:19.000
That picture with Jesus walking, you all know the picture, right? Was that supposed to be him when he was on earth or is it him in heaven?

25
00:04:19.000 --> 00:04:33.000
Is a little bit of both, it's how you like? Religious pictures of Jesus, they show him in heaven, but if you look at his face, it's not like he's quite realized the victory yet.

26
00:04:33.000 --> 00:04:42.000
There's still some battle waiting to be fought. It's got a mysterious face. It's not the conqueror, the victorious one.

27
00:04:42.000 --> 00:04:53.000
Anyway, a good question to ask is what is he doing? What's his function? What is the resurrected risen Lord doing in heaven?

28
00:04:53.000 --> 00:05:02.000
Hebrews 4, 14 gives us a glimpse, seeing them that we have a great high priest.

29
00:05:02.000 --> 00:05:14.000
He is in heaven operating as our high priest. Now, to understand what that means, you need to just peek into the Old Testament a little bit and realize that there was this figure called the high priest.

30
00:05:15.000 --> 00:05:22.000
His job was to represent the people of God, the nation of God, to God.

31
00:05:22.000 --> 00:05:30.000
Also in Hebrews, for example, it says, the fruit of our lips giving praise unto his name.

32
00:05:30.000 --> 00:05:36.000
If the nation would praise God, the high priest would transfer those praises over to God.

33
00:05:36.000 --> 00:05:56.000
If you ever look at good art, even Judeaic art, of the high priest is usually pictured holding his hands up, both hands up, symbolic of him taking the sins of the people, transferring them to the Lamb, and then presenting that to God, or the praises of the people presenting that to God.

34
00:05:56.000 --> 00:06:10.000
Jesus is functioning as your high priest. When you sing worship songs, the fruit of your lips, note that when the Bible says the fruit of your lips, that doesn't mean you're singing quietly inward.

35
00:06:10.000 --> 00:06:19.000
Fruitful lips actually means you're making a sound. And he brings it to the Father.

36
00:06:19.000 --> 00:06:30.000
Look at that verse, seeing then that we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession, the words of our mouth.

37
00:06:30.000 --> 00:06:40.000
The Bible says that Jesus is our high priest in heaven, and one of his jobs is bringing your words to the Father.

38
00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:51.000
Causing your words to come to pass. This, by the way, is how you got saved. This is how you'll receive anything that you ever received from God.

39
00:06:51.000 --> 00:06:59.000
Look at one of the most famous verses in the New Testament, Romans 10, 9 through 10.

40
00:07:00.000 --> 00:07:11.000
That if you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, this is how you receive salvation, this is how you receive forgiveness of sins, you have to what? Open up your mouth.

41
00:07:11.000 --> 00:07:22.000
That if you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, that's half of it, and believe in your heart, that's the other half, that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

42
00:07:22.000 --> 00:07:39.000
So note this, that faith, this precious force called faith, this invisible hand that goes into the heavens and brings down to earth, that thing that you need, that thing that you've been believing for, faith is one half in your heart and one half in your mouth.

43
00:07:40.000 --> 00:07:55.000
And when it comes out of your mouth, Jesus, your high priest, takes your words and presents them to God the Father. Hallelujah. So why am I talking about this this morning? Because some of you are not giving the Lord anything to work with.

44
00:07:56.000 --> 00:08:08.000
If Jesus is my high priest and his role is to bring my words to God the Father, I want to be careful what I say out of my mouth, and I want to have a proper confession.

45
00:08:08.000 --> 00:08:20.000
What's a proper confession? I always used to have a negative association with the word confession, because that grew up on, I guess, in the Cold War and 80s movies.

46
00:08:20.000 --> 00:08:30.000
And there was always this scene of some like KGB interrogation center with one light bulb handing, hanging from the ceiling, and the person slamming the desk, you know, confess.

47
00:08:30.000 --> 00:08:39.000
But confession means to agree with. To confess in this case means you're agreeing with the word of God.

48
00:08:39.000 --> 00:08:45.000
Just a little bit ago, I said some of you are not giving the Lord anything to work with. How do I know this?

49
00:08:45.000 --> 00:08:50.000
I know this because even sometimes in worship, don't get nervous, but I peek. I peek.

50
00:08:50.000 --> 00:09:04.000
But I just got to say some of you, like we say such amazing songs, Sean didn't even know what I was going to preach, and the song, have you noticed that, Sean, was perfect, because you confessing what the Bible says about you.

51
00:09:04.000 --> 00:09:14.000
We say, I am blessed, I am called, I am healed, I am whole, and I peek, and some of you have a face like that's the first positive thing you've said about yourself all week.

52
00:09:15.000 --> 00:09:34.000
It's like, I am blessed, but you spent the whole week saying things like, you know, I'm just always so tired, and life is so hard, and things just don't really work out for me, and your high priest in heaven is going, you're not giving me anything to work with here.

53
00:09:34.000 --> 00:09:43.000
You want them to take those words and present them to God the Father, they'll fall flat right at the throne.

54
00:09:43.000 --> 00:09:55.000
Oh hallelujah, proverb six two, this is why loose lips sink ships.

55
00:09:55.000 --> 00:10:04.000
I am really, I'm fulfilling what I saw in the spirit, a hot poker, because this is great. I love, I love our church.

56
00:10:04.000 --> 00:10:11.000
I love where we are geographically. I love that there's always new people. I love that we're in a burrow that has 161 nations.

57
00:10:11.000 --> 00:10:24.000
You get such a cross pollinating, splattering of every ideology, every culture, every thought, and some of you are hearing this for the first time, and it's going to change your life.

58
00:10:24.000 --> 00:10:30.000
This is a biblical truth, and it'll change your life and get you in the receiving mode.

59
00:10:30.000 --> 00:10:37.000
You don't even know it, but you've been deflecting the blessings of God, and you've been taken captive and ensnared by the words of your mouth.

60
00:10:37.000 --> 00:10:46.000
You were snared by the words of your mouth, you were taken, you're taken captive by the words of your mouth.

61
00:10:46.000 --> 00:11:06.000
So I want to give you five things, first Corinthians 12, 13, five things that you have as a result of being in Jesus, that you can say that will change your life.

62
00:11:06.000 --> 00:11:17.000
Here's one thing you need to know. This is a biblical truth. For by one spirit we were all baptized, it means immersed into one body.

63
00:11:17.000 --> 00:11:26.000
Whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and have all been made to drink into one spirit.

64
00:11:26.000 --> 00:11:41.000
So you are in Christ, amen? There's over 250 verses in the New Testament that use the phrase in Christ or in Him or with Christ.

65
00:11:41.000 --> 00:11:48.000
Pay attention to those verses, because they tell you what you have already.

66
00:11:48.000 --> 00:12:01.000
And in Christianity, one of the biggest problems is people don't know what they have. They don't know the benefits package, so they're ignorant.

67
00:12:01.000 --> 00:12:15.000
Imagine you get a job and everybody's gone. You show up to work. Where are they? Oh, they're on their three month vacation. Why didn't plan for that? I didn't know. Oh, you didn't read the benefits package. You didn't know.

68
00:12:15.000 --> 00:12:25.000
Listen, there's usually two reasons when you see a Christian struggling, why that's so. One, they're ignorant.

69
00:12:25.000 --> 00:12:34.000
There's got a big laugh in the first service. Now it's just like, did I? Is the energy off a little bit? Do you feel like you're being scolded or something?

70
00:12:34.000 --> 00:12:43.000
Just smile back at me. We're having a good time here. Listen, the Bible says, my people are cut off because of a lack of knowledge.

71
00:12:43.000 --> 00:12:50.000
In the King James, it says, my people are destroyed and the Hebrew means cut off because they don't know.

72
00:12:50.000 --> 00:12:56.000
See, if you don't know that you've been physically healed by Jesus' stripes, you're cut off from the benefit of healing.

73
00:12:56.000 --> 00:13:02.000
If you don't know that the cross also encompasses prosperity and abundance, you're cut off from that.

74
00:13:02.000 --> 00:13:14.000
If you don't know really that all of your sins have been forgiven past, present and future, you're cut off from the benefit of having a boldness and a confidence that can only come from knowing you have the righteousness of Jesus.

75
00:13:14.000 --> 00:13:19.000
It's been freely given to you. Amen.

76
00:13:19.000 --> 00:13:28.000
So it's either ignorance or two, they learned it, they know it, but they're not actively appropriating it by faith.

77
00:13:28.000 --> 00:13:37.000
They have a casual attitude and a simple mental ascent to the truths of God and you can't have that. You've got to seize the truth of God.

78
00:13:37.000 --> 00:13:42.000
You've got to know what the Bible says you already have and then just agree with the Bible.

79
00:13:42.000 --> 00:13:46.000
And I say just sometimes it's very difficult, I'll get into that.

80
00:13:46.000 --> 00:13:49.000
But that's why he said, hold fast to our confession.

81
00:13:49.000 --> 00:14:05.000
What he's encouraging the writer of Hebrews is even when you see everything going wrong around you, speak the word of God and speak the truth of God and what it says about you in your circumstances, not what your circumstances are lying to you about the circumstances.

82
00:14:05.000 --> 00:14:11.000
You are in Christ, there's another empowering verse, 1 John 4, 17.

83
00:14:11.000 --> 00:14:17.000
When I read this in my early 20s and got revelation of it, I've read it probably a dozen times beforehand.

84
00:14:17.000 --> 00:14:23.000
But you get revelation when the Lord breathes on it and it becomes real to you.

85
00:14:23.000 --> 00:14:26.000
Just look at the power that's been given to you.

86
00:14:26.000 --> 00:14:34.000
Love has been perfected among us in this that we may have boldness in the day of judgment.

87
00:14:35.000 --> 00:14:40.000
Imagine that. You know how many people name the name of Jesus and have zero boldness?

88
00:14:40.000 --> 00:14:53.000
You ask them to pray and immediately, even if they were praying alone, they barely whisper to God because deep down inside they're afraid.

89
00:14:53.000 --> 00:14:58.000
They're not the good godly fear, but they don't know that they have been made righteous.

90
00:14:58.000 --> 00:15:03.000
They still feel like God is angry with them. They're missing in. They can't even look up.

91
00:15:03.000 --> 00:15:09.000
It says that we may have boldness in the day of judgment.

92
00:15:09.000 --> 00:15:13.000
Unjudgment day, you know how I'm going to be?

93
00:15:13.000 --> 00:15:17.000
Why? Because I've lived such an exemplary life? No.

94
00:15:17.000 --> 00:15:23.000
Because Jesus lived such an exemplary life. And He's transferred His righteousness over to me.

95
00:15:23.000 --> 00:15:26.000
Now here, I didn't even get to the best part yet.

96
00:15:26.000 --> 00:15:34.000
Here's the best part. Because as He is so are we in this world.

97
00:15:34.000 --> 00:15:42.000
So how is He? I checked in via the Bible. He's doing great.

98
00:15:42.000 --> 00:15:48.000
He's victorious as He is so am I in this world? That's the truth.

99
00:15:48.000 --> 00:15:52.000
He is sinless as He is so are we in this world.

100
00:15:52.000 --> 00:15:58.000
He has unhindered intimacy with God the Father as He is so am I in this world?

101
00:15:58.000 --> 00:16:03.000
Hallelujah. So we're going to change a little bit of how we're talking.

102
00:16:03.000 --> 00:16:09.000
I'm going to get you in the receiving zone. Yeah. Hallelujah.

103
00:16:09.000 --> 00:16:16.000
I want to go over five things that we have as a result of being in Christ baptized in Jesus

104
00:16:16.000 --> 00:16:19.000
and lead you in some confessions.

105
00:16:19.000 --> 00:16:28.000
Number one, it's found in Psalms 84-11.

106
00:16:28.000 --> 00:16:34.000
Psalms 84-11. Great verse out of the Psalms.

107
00:16:35.000 --> 00:16:41.000
For the Lord God is the Son and shield.

108
00:16:41.000 --> 00:16:44.000
The Lord will give grace and glory.

109
00:16:44.000 --> 00:16:49.000
No good thing with He will hold. Are you getting excited yet?

110
00:16:49.000 --> 00:16:53.000
From those who walk up rightly, uh-oh.

111
00:16:53.000 --> 00:16:59.000
See, that should give you pause because the promise is conditional.

112
00:16:59.000 --> 00:17:04.000
And you'll find hundreds of promises in the Bible that are conditional.

113
00:17:04.000 --> 00:17:11.000
You'll have all this if you behave righteously, if you are righteous, if you walk up rightly.

114
00:17:11.000 --> 00:17:16.000
Now, that should scare you. Nobody should read it and go, yeah.

115
00:17:16.000 --> 00:17:20.000
Because that's me because I've been so good this last week.

116
00:17:20.000 --> 00:17:24.000
Right? That when it says, walk up rightly, you've got to pause and go, well,

117
00:17:25.000 --> 00:17:30.000
how uprightly is uprightly? Like, I mean, I'm a pretty good person.

118
00:17:30.000 --> 00:17:34.000
When I compare myself to the worst person I know, I'm pretty good.

119
00:17:34.000 --> 00:17:36.000
And that's typically what we do, right?

120
00:17:36.000 --> 00:17:39.000
We think God has this kind of like grading on a curve.

121
00:17:39.000 --> 00:17:44.000
Like, if you're better than Hitler, if you're better than the worst person, you know, you're okay.

122
00:17:44.000 --> 00:17:50.000
No, God demands His holiness demands perfection.

123
00:17:50.000 --> 00:17:59.000
So uprightly means sinless. It means perfect, which means that none of us qualify for this apart from Jesus, right?

124
00:17:59.000 --> 00:18:09.000
What we have in Christ is realized promises because Jesus has made us righteous. Hallelujah.

125
00:18:09.000 --> 00:18:13.000
Let's look at the confession.

126
00:18:13.000 --> 00:18:21.000
Jesus died on the cross, took away our sin, and freely gave us His righteousness, pronounced us sin-free,

127
00:18:21.000 --> 00:18:25.000
guilt-free, condemnation-free. So now, guess what?

128
00:18:25.000 --> 00:18:28.000
You qualify. Can you just say that? I qualify.

129
00:18:28.000 --> 00:18:33.000
I qualify. I qualify.

130
00:18:33.000 --> 00:18:40.000
Whenever I pray to God, I dare not come by myself.

131
00:18:40.000 --> 00:18:43.000
In fact, we're taught to pray in the name of Jesus, right?

132
00:18:43.000 --> 00:18:46.000
You ever think about what that means? Is it just the prayer formula?

133
00:18:46.000 --> 00:18:51.000
That we just say Father in the name of Jesus, and then ready set go, we can begin because technically we started okay?

134
00:18:51.000 --> 00:18:59.000
No, when you say Father in the name of Jesus, what you're saying is Father, I'm coming to you, but I'm not coming alone.

135
00:18:59.000 --> 00:19:05.000
I'm coming to you in the name of Jesus, in what He has done, what He has accomplished for me.

136
00:19:05.000 --> 00:19:12.000
He's removed all of my sin, and He's given me His righteousness, His right standing.

137
00:19:12.000 --> 00:19:19.000
So now, when you read these conditional promises, whenever you read one of these promises, it's got a little voice.

138
00:19:19.000 --> 00:19:22.000
It's the enemy. He's going to whisper in your mind, you don't qualify.

139
00:19:22.000 --> 00:19:25.000
It was not just me.

140
00:19:25.000 --> 00:19:29.000
I mean, you shouldn't read that and think.

141
00:19:29.000 --> 00:19:34.000
You shouldn't read that and think that you measure up alone.

142
00:19:35.000 --> 00:19:41.000
Whenever I have something of God, I don't come to Him and give Him my resume of good works.

143
00:19:41.000 --> 00:19:45.000
Oh, God, you know, I'm different because I'm a pastor.

144
00:19:45.000 --> 00:19:55.000
I've suffered uniquely for you, Lord, and it was really hard in that basement all those years, Lord, with no windows and Lord, I sacrifice to kind of, you know, what I'm really trying to say is,

145
00:19:55.000 --> 00:20:01.000
you kind of owe me one, right? Because I've been on the front lines. He's not impressed.

146
00:20:01.000 --> 00:20:06.000
I'm no different. I need the blood. I need Jesus.

147
00:20:06.000 --> 00:20:12.000
And because of His blood, because of His forgiveness, you qualify.

148
00:20:12.000 --> 00:20:19.000
So let's confess. Let's agree with God's word. Amen.

149
00:20:19.000 --> 00:20:22.000
Say this out loud with me. I am immersed in Christ.

150
00:20:23.000 --> 00:20:33.000
His righteousness is now mine. God the Father now freely fulfills.

151
00:20:33.000 --> 00:20:46.000
Every promise, not because of what I've done, but what Jesus has done for me.

152
00:20:46.000 --> 00:20:54.000
Do you believe it? Shout to Jesus.

153
00:20:54.000 --> 00:21:01.000
Number two, Romans 517. I'm giving you five things that the Bible says you have.

154
00:21:01.000 --> 00:21:10.000
Look, this kind of preaching, it's criticized because it's empowering and it's biblical and Satan hates it and so it's criticized.

155
00:21:10.000 --> 00:21:17.000
Already I've spoken so many positive things from the Word of God over you. Some of you you're looking at me like,

156
00:21:17.000 --> 00:21:24.000
like, what's up my sleeve?

157
00:21:24.000 --> 00:21:30.000
You know, some people will call this kind of preaching like a motivational preaching.

158
00:21:30.000 --> 00:21:38.000
Oh, he's just like a positive feel good motivational preacher. Why? Because I'm speaking positively and empowering the people.

159
00:21:38.000 --> 00:21:43.000
I'm sorry, if you want, I can meet you in the back. I can condemn you, make you feel guilty.

160
00:21:43.000 --> 00:21:49.000
Is that proper pastoring? I can be miserable with you and tell you how the life is just awful,

161
00:21:49.000 --> 00:21:54.000
but one day in the sweet barn by you'll get into heaven and then you'll like me again and you'll feel right at home.

162
00:21:54.000 --> 00:21:59.000
People call this kind of preaching. There's actually, you know, they label it.

163
00:21:59.000 --> 00:22:06.000
Oh, that's that. Is that that name it and claim it stuff? Is that that blabbit and grab it? Faced?

164
00:22:06.000 --> 00:22:14.000
You can call it what you want to call it. I call it agreeing with the Word of God. If God says it's mine, then it's mine.

165
00:22:14.000 --> 00:22:26.000
And nobody's going to tell me otherwise. Not my circumstances, not my environment, not my friends. God's Word is true and let God be true and every man a liar.

166
00:22:26.000 --> 00:22:33.000
I'm not preaching to use some fear or some philosophy. I live this. I've lived this. There's people in the church.

167
00:22:33.000 --> 00:22:36.000
They're living it right now.

168
00:22:36.000 --> 00:22:43.000
Man, there's a line in the road. Some people it just seems their content to be live.

169
00:22:43.000 --> 00:22:51.000
You need a waking up by the spirit of God that you come alive right now. That mediocrity, that defeat,

170
00:22:51.000 --> 00:22:58.000
comes off of you right now in Jesus name. The devil's been whispering to you and just telling you it's going to be this way.

171
00:22:58.000 --> 00:23:05.000
It's just going to continue to be this way. Check yourself. Divorce that doubt and unbelief out of your life.

172
00:23:05.000 --> 00:23:12.000
Dare to believe again. Dare to believe. Smith Wigglesworth used that phrase dare to believe.

173
00:23:12.000 --> 00:23:21.000
I was wondered why when I was young and inexperienced, I wondered why he would say dare to believe because I was young and inexperienced.

174
00:23:21.000 --> 00:23:31.000
Then as I moved on into my 20s, I experienced some life and I experienced falling flat on my face and getting hurt and life's troubles.

175
00:23:31.000 --> 00:23:38.000
Then when it was time to believe God, there was a little voice that said, no, don't. You'll just end up disappointed.

176
00:23:39.000 --> 00:23:47.000
You'll just have these big dreams and then they'll, so might as well not, might just you know, occupy till he comes.

177
00:23:47.000 --> 00:23:56.000
Just wait for the trumpet blast and then I had to make a decision. No, no, no. So I fell. So I broke my nose. So I got muddy.

178
00:23:56.000 --> 00:24:04.000
That does not change God's word. Let God be true in every man a liar. I'm still going to dare to believe him what his word is true.

179
00:24:04.000 --> 00:24:13.000
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Romans 517, it shows you what you have. That's what we're studying this morning.

180
00:24:13.000 --> 00:24:22.000
You came into the family of God and no one ever told you the Benny package. You don't know the benefit. Listen, that's why the Psalmist said, bless the Lord.

181
00:24:23.000 --> 00:24:32.000
Oh my soul. And forget not his benefits. It's in there because people have a propensity to forget his benefits.

182
00:24:32.000 --> 00:24:39.000
You show me a downcast depressed Christian. I'll show you a Christian who forgot the benefits.

183
00:24:39.000 --> 00:24:59.000
For if by one man's offense death reign through the one much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will what will reign will reign will reign in life through the one Jesus Christ.

184
00:24:59.000 --> 00:25:12.000
Number two, what you have as a result of being in him immersed or baptized in Jesus you have kingship to reign when to reign in heaven.

185
00:25:12.000 --> 00:25:22.000
No, there's only one king in heaven and he doesn't need any ambassadors. It says so right in the verse to reign in life to reign in life right now.

186
00:25:22.000 --> 00:25:39.000
I'm speaking to royalty. In fact, that's why the Bible calls you a royal priesthood. Your bridge builders, that's what the word priest means, a bridge maker taking someone who's far from God and connecting them to the Lord.

187
00:25:39.000 --> 00:25:53.000
But it says you're a royal priesthood. Some of you you know this you're living it others you're even wondering if this is true even though you see it and it's in the word of God.

188
00:25:53.000 --> 00:25:59.000
He saved you so you could reign in life.

189
00:25:59.000 --> 00:26:15.000
Say this right now boys and girls say I'm a king. I'm a king. I'm royalty. Hallelujah. Jesus.

190
00:26:15.000 --> 00:26:27.000
Faith is released through your words. Yeah. Faith is one half in your heart and one half in your mouth. Yeah. Jesus is the high priest of your words of your confession. Yeah.

191
00:26:27.000 --> 00:26:46.000
So then change what you're saying. And some of you've been cursing yourselves cursing yourselves by not agreeing with the word of God. You say when I say you've been cursing yourself I'm not talking about like you stuck your toe with 3 a.m. And I'm talking about when you say.

192
00:26:46.000 --> 00:27:01.000
You're just the same old same old. Oh I'm tired. Oh money's tight. And you're speaking your circumstances nonstop as opposed to speaking the word of God. You're cursing yourself.

193
00:27:01.000 --> 00:27:16.000
So I feel like I need to let a sea lot moment. I could really this different than the first service I can feel the world.

194
00:27:16.000 --> 00:27:31.000
You know a few weeks ago almost a month ago now I blew out my back. I want to say I blew out my back. I mean I blew it out which my chiropractor hates when I say there's things chiropractors hate like don't come to them and say I have a pinch nerve.

195
00:27:31.000 --> 00:27:39.000
I threw out my back I blew out my back because that's none of those are real terms that's like what we've made up.

196
00:27:39.000 --> 00:27:46.000
So when he told me that I was coming to the office doc I really pinched my nerve and blew out my back real bad and he laughs I laugh.

197
00:27:46.000 --> 00:27:52.000
But I mean I blew it out expertly this time.

198
00:27:52.000 --> 00:28:03.000
It was Nicole here. I was wondering for several I said I was dead lifting and somebody shouted out I knew it. I didn't know who it was.

199
00:28:03.000 --> 00:28:07.000
I was like that sounded like Nicole.

200
00:28:07.000 --> 00:28:27.000
She's a big core person and so I started working out again and it was just wonderful and then I set up a gym in my basement and I thought I'm going to get back because I work out at a really fancy place called Planet Fitness.

201
00:28:27.000 --> 00:28:31.000
It's the judgment free zone bro.

202
00:28:31.000 --> 00:28:35.000
If anybody judges I hit that local arm.

203
00:28:35.000 --> 00:28:44.000
But they don't have they don't have any heavy stuff right so I got a deadlift thing for my basement because you can't get properly swole without deadlifting right.

204
00:28:45.000 --> 00:28:52.000
But really deadlifting if done properly can really strengthen your back and years before I've used it to heal my back.

205
00:28:52.000 --> 00:29:02.000
And I've done it already weeks before light weight not trying to be a short little light like picking up an Amazon box off the floor but something was off.

206
00:29:02.000 --> 00:29:12.000
And on the first rep I just felt a pop and I was still fine the very next day which was a Sunday by the way I couldn't move.

207
00:29:12.000 --> 00:29:16.000
I couldn't roll over on my bed without squealing an agony.

208
00:29:16.000 --> 00:29:24.000
I mean just to get me over to the chiropractor was a whole lower deal and it persisted like that for days and know this pain is a very loud speaker.

209
00:29:24.000 --> 00:29:29.000
You know the doctor would be like is it shooting pain or is it radiating pain I don't know it's pain.

210
00:29:29.000 --> 00:29:36.000
Well from a one two a ten and eleven it hurts and there's other details I'm not even going to share.

211
00:29:36.000 --> 00:29:42.000
I shared with Pastor James he's not looked at me the same way since of what my life was reduced to.

212
00:29:42.000 --> 00:29:51.000
I mean I heard not day one not day two but by day three you hear the voice of the enemy and I heard that voice very suddenly and softly but.

213
00:29:51.000 --> 00:29:56.000
You just missed up now you'll never walk again I heard it because I could not walk.

214
00:29:56.000 --> 00:30:05.000
So what do you do then well a circumstance is just saying one thing your pain is saying one thing those are all facts.

215
00:30:05.000 --> 00:30:15.000
You know what trumps facts truth and the truth of God's word says by his stripes I was healed so I began to agree with the word of God.

216
00:30:15.000 --> 00:30:23.000
So and this is it's almost hilarious how it goes I say Lord I and the moment I say Lord I thank you that I'm he yeah.

217
00:30:23.000 --> 00:30:30.000
Pain starts shooting down or radiating or whatever it hurts.

218
00:30:30.000 --> 00:30:40.000
Closer and I say it again and I say it again the pain is saying one thing my circumstance is saying the same thing but the word of God is saying the opposite.

219
00:30:41.000 --> 00:30:52.000
So whose report are you going to believe I'm going to believe the report of the Lord amen that's why the Bible says let the week say I am.

220
00:30:52.000 --> 00:30:59.000
Let the poor say I am let the ugly say I know.

221
00:30:59.000 --> 00:31:02.000
Hallelujah.

222
00:31:02.000 --> 00:31:11.000
So we have been given kingship I'm trying to tell you if you if you're not experiencing kingship.

223
00:31:11.000 --> 00:31:18.000
He'll get you to the place but you have to give your high priest something to work with I was just thinking in the Lord prompted me to share.

224
00:31:18.000 --> 00:31:31.000
Some of you guys and I guess I've wrestled with how transparent to be with my church I try to be very very transparent but I got to be honest with you when I am transparent you send out a funny vibe so I don't know if I should continue.

225
00:31:32.000 --> 00:31:46.000
That's the thing I my dream is that I just hide nothing and tell you everything but every time I go like this you guys are like you know put your clothes back on or something I'm like part of my job is living open so that you can see and.

226
00:31:46.000 --> 00:31:52.000
To be an example of what the Lord is doing so I'll just stop carrying a letter go.

227
00:31:52.000 --> 00:32:04.000
Because you guys know we moved to Long Island we got a house and I've shared about the blessing and the financial blessing of the Lord but I haven't gotten into such specific details but I will let me just say this.

228
00:32:04.000 --> 00:32:18.000
Recently as five years ago 2019 Emily and I typically had anywhere from two to three thousand dollars in our bank account and that's all the money we had.

229
00:32:18.000 --> 00:32:28.000
And I was content because we were debt free so I was so on the one side we're debt free but at any given time.

230
00:32:28.000 --> 00:32:35.000
We have two to three thousand which I fell into just like oh yeah that's a nice pillow a nice cushion.

231
00:32:35.000 --> 00:32:40.000
Except when a hot water tank would break down or there was an emergency that always kind of throw us off but.

232
00:32:40.000 --> 00:32:56.000
I was so happy with just after being in debt for years that the Lord had brought us into debt freedom but how many of you know and I'm a tither and I give offerings and what we'd always have was anywhere always under three grand more than a thousand.

233
00:32:56.000 --> 00:33:06.000
And then I sense the Lord prompting me to push push against that barrier push I want to take you higher.

234
00:33:06.000 --> 00:33:15.000
I want to take you to a place that's better the place of overflow the place of abundance.

235
00:33:15.000 --> 00:33:21.000
And then in May of 19 and the only reason we had extra money was our tax refund just came in.

236
00:33:21.000 --> 00:33:31.000
So once a year then we would go up to like six seven eight thousand and I bought my first Bitcoin for fifty three hundred dollars.

237
00:33:31.000 --> 00:33:37.000
I didn't even know what it was and I began studying it realized it's the best money on planet earth.

238
00:33:37.000 --> 00:33:43.000
The hardest money on planet earth the scarceest money on planet earth and I want to go all in on this so.

239
00:33:43.000 --> 00:33:57.000
I then borrowed I went on leverage I and the Lord transformed our finances to where before when I wanted to bless somebody I'd give him a fifty dollar bill or if the Lord touched me to be very generous.

240
00:33:57.000 --> 00:34:05.000
I give him a hundred dollar pennacostle handshake and lately and lately I can tell you how many checks for ten thousand dollars ever it now.

241
00:34:05.000 --> 00:34:08.000
Not personally.

242
00:34:08.000 --> 00:34:15.000
And the Lord when I check in with heaven the Lord is saying how far do you want to take this it's up to you.

243
00:34:15.000 --> 00:34:18.000
How far do you want to take this?

244
00:34:18.000 --> 00:34:26.000
Will you agree with what my words says about you will you agree with me you know what the word says that when the queen of Shiba went to Solomon's house.

245
00:34:26.000 --> 00:34:33.000
And so all of his stuff because of the anointing because of the favor because of the blessing of God.

246
00:34:33.000 --> 00:34:43.000
It says there was no more spirit within her that's poetic language for she fainted she fainted she hit the deck.

247
00:34:43.000 --> 00:34:49.000
She thought she was all that she saw a Solomon's wealth and she saw his gates.

248
00:34:49.000 --> 00:34:56.000
She says she saw his bank woulding table she saw how his servants were dressed.

249
00:34:56.000 --> 00:35:01.000
Hallelujah.

250
00:35:01.000 --> 00:35:08.000
Yeah God wants to lift you up higher in every way and use you as a trophy of his goodness and of his grace.

251
00:35:08.000 --> 00:35:13.000
So you can relieve suffering and expand the kingdom of God all over the world.

252
00:35:13.000 --> 00:35:16.000
Hallelujah.

253
00:35:16.000 --> 00:35:26.000
So let's say this I have kingship I have received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness.

254
00:35:26.000 --> 00:35:36.000
I reign as a king in my domain in this life through Jesus Christ.

255
00:35:36.000 --> 00:35:43.000
Hallelujah.

256
00:35:43.000 --> 00:35:50.000
And my eyes are falling on you Brian because you know when I think about one part of that happened.

257
00:35:50.000 --> 00:35:55.000
Do you remember when we were leaving Madison Square Garden in 2019 it was fall.

258
00:35:55.000 --> 00:35:59.000
And I asked you what did you think of the meeting and you said it feels like barriers.

259
00:35:59.000 --> 00:36:02.000
Do you remember really?

260
00:36:02.000 --> 00:36:09.000
I felt the same thing we're like wow the Lord will just because we have these barriers that the world puts on us,

261
00:36:09.000 --> 00:36:14.000
that people put on us and then we agree with people and the world and then we put these limiting barriers.

262
00:36:14.000 --> 00:36:19.000
And then God comes in by his anointing just once the blow all that out.

263
00:36:19.000 --> 00:36:21.000
Hallelujah.

264
00:36:21.000 --> 00:36:26.000
Some of you are not going to be content with just being like a dead fish floating downstream.

265
00:36:26.000 --> 00:36:29.000
You're going to be a barrier breaker in Jesus name.

266
00:36:29.000 --> 00:36:33.000
Hallelujah.

267
00:36:33.000 --> 00:36:35.000
All right number three.

268
00:36:35.000 --> 00:36:42.000
We're talking about things five things that you have that you can confess that you have because the Bible says you have it.

269
00:36:42.000 --> 00:36:48.000
Romans a 37 you have the victory.

270
00:36:48.000 --> 00:37:00.000
It says in Romans a 37 yet in all these things we are more than conquerors more than conquerors through him who loved us.

271
00:37:00.000 --> 00:37:06.000
More than conquerors is the Greek word who pernicale.

272
00:37:06.000 --> 00:37:10.000
Which when I was studying this out back in my early 20s.

273
00:37:10.000 --> 00:37:18.000
I was delighted to find out that my Nike sneakers are actually from that word from the Greek Nikkei.

274
00:37:18.000 --> 00:37:20.000
Which means victory.

275
00:37:20.000 --> 00:37:22.000
Yeah.

276
00:37:22.000 --> 00:37:27.000
Or conquering the conquering victor.

277
00:37:27.000 --> 00:37:33.000
But this is who pernicale like hypernicale like more than above a conqueror.

278
00:37:33.000 --> 00:37:36.000
And the Bible says that's who you are now.

279
00:37:36.000 --> 00:37:41.000
Think about how many times you hear voices and you agree with the say the exact opposite.

280
00:37:41.000 --> 00:37:43.000
You're a loser.

281
00:37:43.000 --> 00:37:45.000
You're nothing.

282
00:37:45.000 --> 00:37:48.000
You're just crawling through life.

283
00:37:48.000 --> 00:37:52.000
Hey I'll let you in on a secret when I counsel with people everyone hears this.

284
00:37:52.000 --> 00:37:54.000
You know what's also hilarious to me.

285
00:37:54.000 --> 00:37:56.000
Everyone thinks that the only one.

286
00:37:56.000 --> 00:38:01.000
Like they look around the room here and go I must be the only one that battles these thoughts because everyone else seems so happy.

287
00:38:01.000 --> 00:38:04.000
I don't care where you're at in the Lord you're going to hear those thoughts.

288
00:38:04.000 --> 00:38:10.000
Satan loves to say good morning to you and greet you with those thoughts.

289
00:38:10.000 --> 00:38:13.000
So once again who's reporter you're going to believe.

290
00:38:13.000 --> 00:38:18.000
Now the word says that you're more than a conqueror.

291
00:38:18.000 --> 00:38:21.000
Now when I was first saved.

292
00:38:21.000 --> 00:38:24.000
We couldn't get anything online the internet didn't exist.

293
00:38:24.000 --> 00:38:27.000
So you go to the Christian bookstore and they had art.

294
00:38:27.000 --> 00:38:35.000
And usually associated with that verse with some kind of painting of a bloody Christian warrior at the top of a mountain.

295
00:38:35.000 --> 00:38:36.000
He barely made it though.

296
00:38:36.000 --> 00:38:38.000
His armors and tatters.

297
00:38:38.000 --> 00:38:40.000
He's bloodied up from the battle.

298
00:38:40.000 --> 00:38:44.000
His horse sword is hanging out but he's more than a conqueror.

299
00:38:44.000 --> 00:38:49.000
And that's that's that's that's typical of man because it's so proud.

300
00:38:49.000 --> 00:38:52.000
Like he's the one fighting and he's the one doing the work.

301
00:38:52.000 --> 00:38:56.000
That's not what hope or any kale more than a conqueror means.

302
00:38:56.000 --> 00:39:02.000
Here's one more than a conqueror means think of a price fighter in a heavy weight championship fight.

303
00:39:02.000 --> 00:39:05.000
$50 million purse.

304
00:39:05.000 --> 00:39:09.000
We have our fighter going against the opponent 15 rounds.

305
00:39:09.000 --> 00:39:16.000
He's fighting the first round second round third round fourth or up to 15 rounds in the 15th round our hero.

306
00:39:16.000 --> 00:39:19.000
The price fighter knocks the opponent down.

307
00:39:19.000 --> 00:39:23.000
Ding, ding, ding, wins the $50 million purse.

308
00:39:23.000 --> 00:39:25.000
Looks at the front row.

309
00:39:25.000 --> 00:39:27.000
His wife is sitting there gleaming.

310
00:39:27.000 --> 00:39:31.000
He winks at her and he gives her the $50 million purse.

311
00:39:31.000 --> 00:39:33.000
Now he is a conqueror.

312
00:39:33.000 --> 00:39:34.000
Yeah?

313
00:39:34.000 --> 00:39:35.000
What is she?

314
00:39:35.000 --> 00:39:37.000
More than a conqueror.

315
00:39:37.000 --> 00:39:39.000
She's hope or any kale.

316
00:39:39.000 --> 00:39:42.000
That's what Jesus did for us.

317
00:39:42.000 --> 00:39:45.000
There is a rest in that.

318
00:39:45.000 --> 00:39:49.000
That means that we don't have to get bloodied up and battered.

319
00:39:49.000 --> 00:39:54.000
That means no matter what's happening in your life it is right and it is proper to speak God's truth.

320
00:39:54.000 --> 00:39:57.000
You're more than a conqueror.

321
00:39:57.000 --> 00:40:02.000
Especially when the opposite of what you want to happen is happening in your life.

322
00:40:02.000 --> 00:40:06.000
Sometimes it'll feel when you're in the verge of a breakthrough.

323
00:40:06.000 --> 00:40:11.000
Often it'll feel like the exact opposite is happening.

324
00:40:11.000 --> 00:40:17.000
I'll never forget living in the basement, the basement.

325
00:40:17.000 --> 00:40:21.000
It wasn't the basement of a church, the church was the basement.

326
00:40:21.000 --> 00:40:24.000
And I lived in that thing for five and a half years.

327
00:40:24.000 --> 00:40:26.000
No windows.

328
00:40:26.000 --> 00:40:28.000
And I would hear thoughts.

329
00:40:28.000 --> 00:40:34.000
It would be like Satan not just messing with me but like torturing me.

330
00:40:34.000 --> 00:40:40.000
I'd be going to bed and I would hear in the silence the scratching of mice above the wood ceiling.

331
00:40:40.000 --> 00:40:45.000
And I would hear thoughts like look what you've done to your life.

332
00:40:45.000 --> 00:40:49.000
You've wrecked your life with this ministry ministry business.

333
00:40:49.000 --> 00:40:53.000
You've just ruined, you've got a college degree, what's that worth now?

334
00:40:53.000 --> 00:40:55.000
You can't do anything.

335
00:40:55.000 --> 00:40:57.000
Look at your church, there's like eight people in it.

336
00:40:57.000 --> 00:40:58.000
You're losing.

337
00:40:58.000 --> 00:41:00.000
You're a loser.

338
00:41:00.000 --> 00:41:02.000
You're a losing loser.

339
00:41:02.000 --> 00:41:05.000
That's what I'd hear in my head.

340
00:41:05.000 --> 00:41:07.000
And that's where the battle begins.

341
00:41:08.000 --> 00:41:12.000
And that's why every fight you will have is in the arena of faith.

342
00:41:12.000 --> 00:41:17.000
Believing God's Word no matter what, you've got to be stubborn.

343
00:41:17.000 --> 00:41:25.000
Well, a holy stubbornness has to seize you where you believe God's worth despite what your circumstances and environment is.

344
00:41:25.000 --> 00:41:28.000
Hallering at you.

345
00:41:28.000 --> 00:41:30.000
Hallelujah.

346
00:41:30.000 --> 00:41:34.000
And right before the thing broke.

347
00:41:34.000 --> 00:41:41.000
And this happened several times, it seemed like the attack was highest and the opposite of what I wanted was happening.

348
00:41:41.000 --> 00:41:44.000
Is this ministering to anyone this morning?

349
00:41:44.000 --> 00:41:46.000
Okay.

350
00:41:46.000 --> 00:41:47.000
Number four.

351
00:41:47.000 --> 00:41:50.000
Oh wait, we got to do the yeah, victory.

352
00:41:50.000 --> 00:41:52.000
Say this out loud.

353
00:41:52.000 --> 00:41:54.000
And just note, note.

354
00:41:54.000 --> 00:41:58.000
Note what's happening in your own spirit as you say these words.

355
00:41:59.000 --> 00:42:03.000
Same with heart, same with passion, same with faith.

356
00:42:03.000 --> 00:42:08.000
And know that Jesus is taking your words as your high priest and presenting them to God the Father.

357
00:42:08.000 --> 00:42:09.000
You ready?

358
00:42:09.000 --> 00:42:13.000
Jesus has conquered sin and death.

359
00:42:13.000 --> 00:42:21.000
Jesus has destroyed the works of the devil and has given me his victory.

360
00:42:21.000 --> 00:42:26.000
I do not trust in my own ability to fight.

361
00:42:26.000 --> 00:42:32.000
I trust in Jesus who has already won every battle for me.

362
00:42:32.000 --> 00:42:36.000
I am more than a conqueror.

363
00:42:36.000 --> 00:42:38.000
Amen.

364
00:42:38.000 --> 00:42:39.000
Listen.

365
00:42:39.000 --> 00:42:40.000
Yeah.

366
00:42:40.000 --> 00:42:44.000
You see the shift in the spirit?

367
00:42:44.000 --> 00:42:48.000
I love you, but I just know I've been doing this for a while.

368
00:42:48.000 --> 00:42:50.000
You get to know some stuff after a while, right?

369
00:42:50.000 --> 00:42:59.000
This is the first loving, positive thing you've said about yourself in weeks.

370
00:42:59.000 --> 00:43:03.000
You've been complaining, you've been whining, you've been text complaining and text whining.

371
00:43:03.000 --> 00:43:05.000
You've been posting negatively.

372
00:43:05.000 --> 00:43:08.000
It's easy to fall into that.

373
00:43:08.000 --> 00:43:13.000
But it's not giving Jesus anything to work with and it's not releasing faith, it's releasing the opposite.

374
00:43:13.000 --> 00:43:17.000
And some of you have been taken captive by the words of your own mouth.

375
00:43:17.000 --> 00:43:19.000
That's all being undone right now.

376
00:43:19.000 --> 00:43:24.000
And some of you got is aligning and he's taken the lid and the ceiling off.

377
00:43:24.000 --> 00:43:25.000
Hallelujah.

378
00:43:25.000 --> 00:43:26.000
Hallelujah.

379
00:43:26.000 --> 00:43:29.000
Ephesians 2.1.

380
00:43:29.000 --> 00:43:33.000
We're at number four.

381
00:43:33.000 --> 00:43:41.000
Ephesians 2.1 and you, he made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins.

382
00:43:41.000 --> 00:43:44.000
Verse four.

383
00:43:44.000 --> 00:43:51.000
Even when we were dead in trespasses and sins, he made us alive.

384
00:43:51.000 --> 00:43:53.000
Oh, sorry.

385
00:43:53.000 --> 00:43:57.000
But God who was rich and mercy because of his great love with which he loved us,

386
00:43:57.000 --> 00:44:03.000
even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ,

387
00:44:03.000 --> 00:44:09.000
by grace you have been saved, and raised us up, shout together,

388
00:44:10.000 --> 00:44:17.000
and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

389
00:44:17.000 --> 00:44:20.000
Keep that verse up there, will you?

390
00:44:20.000 --> 00:44:22.000
Number four.

391
00:44:22.000 --> 00:44:27.000
And this, by the way, is where all of our authority comes from as Christians.

392
00:44:27.000 --> 00:44:32.000
It is the truth that we have been already raised up.

393
00:44:32.000 --> 00:44:35.000
You know, every Easter we celebrate the resurrection of Christ.

394
00:44:35.000 --> 00:44:37.000
We're not just celebrating his resurrection.

395
00:44:37.000 --> 00:44:40.000
Because we were raised together with him.

396
00:44:40.000 --> 00:44:45.000
And even though physically right now we're at 4401 Broadway,

397
00:44:45.000 --> 00:44:48.000
in the spirit we're connected to Jesus.

398
00:44:48.000 --> 00:44:52.000
He's in us, wearing him, and according to the Scriptures,

399
00:44:52.000 --> 00:44:57.000
we're seated together in heavenly places in Christ.

400
00:44:57.000 --> 00:45:00.000
So picture Christ on the throne?

401
00:45:00.000 --> 00:45:02.000
Where's the Father?

402
00:45:02.000 --> 00:45:03.000
On the throne?

403
00:45:03.000 --> 00:45:05.000
Don't start with that whole while Jesus is at the right hand of the Father.

404
00:45:05.000 --> 00:45:10.000
Like, what do you think you're going to go to heaven and the Father's on the throne in Jesus is like the little boy?

405
00:45:10.000 --> 00:45:14.000
The right hand of the Father isn't a geographic position.

406
00:45:14.000 --> 00:45:18.000
It's a term that means that the place of prominence and authority.

407
00:45:18.000 --> 00:45:22.000
When John went to Revelation, he said, I saw the one.

408
00:45:22.000 --> 00:45:23.000
I saw the one.

409
00:45:23.000 --> 00:45:25.000
Not I saw the three or the two.

410
00:45:25.000 --> 00:45:26.000
I saw the one.

411
00:45:26.000 --> 00:45:27.000
Who was the one?

412
00:45:27.000 --> 00:45:28.000
Yes.

413
00:45:28.000 --> 00:45:33.000
The Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit.

414
00:45:33.000 --> 00:45:37.000
And then in another place, the Holy Spirit is seven lamps.

415
00:45:37.000 --> 00:45:39.000
And Jesus is a lamp.

416
00:45:39.000 --> 00:45:42.000
It's crazy up there.

417
00:45:42.000 --> 00:45:46.000
Our natural finite minds can't even comprehend.

418
00:45:46.000 --> 00:45:48.000
But he said, I saw the one.

419
00:45:48.000 --> 00:45:53.000
We are in him, seated in heavenly places in Christ.

420
00:45:53.000 --> 00:45:55.000
And the Bible says he raised us up.

421
00:45:55.000 --> 00:45:57.000
Yes, Hester, go to that verse.

422
00:45:57.000 --> 00:45:59.000
Hester is such a sweetheart in between service.

423
00:45:59.000 --> 00:46:01.000
It's like I found that verse.

424
00:46:01.000 --> 00:46:03.000
Far above.

425
00:46:03.000 --> 00:46:05.000
Not just that.

426
00:46:05.000 --> 00:46:08.000
Not just above, right?

427
00:46:08.000 --> 00:46:10.000
Far above.

428
00:46:10.000 --> 00:46:14.000
All principality and power and might and dominion.

429
00:46:14.000 --> 00:46:19.000
And every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

430
00:46:19.000 --> 00:46:22.000
That means you have authority.

431
00:46:22.000 --> 00:46:26.000
When we renounce spirits, cast out demons.

432
00:46:26.000 --> 00:46:30.000
When we pray, the devil is going to question you.

433
00:46:30.000 --> 00:46:32.000
By what authority do you do this?

434
00:46:32.000 --> 00:46:35.000
If you don't know it, he's already been questioning you.

435
00:46:35.000 --> 00:46:37.000
That's probably why you don't do it.

436
00:46:37.000 --> 00:46:40.000
You don't do it because the voice in your head says, what are you doing?

437
00:46:40.000 --> 00:46:42.000
You know, this doesn't work.

438
00:46:42.000 --> 00:46:46.000
This doesn't work for you.

439
00:46:46.000 --> 00:46:50.000
The Bible says Jesus gave you the keys.

440
00:46:50.000 --> 00:46:53.000
And he's giving you all authority.

441
00:46:53.000 --> 00:46:55.000
He says, after his resurrection, he got all authority.

442
00:46:55.000 --> 00:46:56.000
He got the keys.

443
00:46:56.000 --> 00:46:59.000
He immediately gave it over to the church.

444
00:46:59.000 --> 00:47:03.000
So when I commend the devil to leave, it's not just me talking.

445
00:47:03.000 --> 00:47:04.000
I'm representing Jesus.

446
00:47:04.000 --> 00:47:06.000
It's like Jesus himself talking.

447
00:47:06.000 --> 00:47:10.000
When I go into my house, I go into my house and I say, this is a place of blessing.

448
00:47:10.000 --> 00:47:12.000
This is a place of great favor.

449
00:47:12.000 --> 00:47:14.000
This is a place where the oil of heaven flows.

450
00:47:14.000 --> 00:47:17.000
Only good things happen in this place.

451
00:47:17.000 --> 00:47:19.000
I can do that.

452
00:47:19.000 --> 00:47:21.000
Because one, it's my home.

453
00:47:21.000 --> 00:47:23.000
I can't just walk into a 7-11 and do that.

454
00:47:23.000 --> 00:47:24.000
I don't own it.

455
00:47:24.000 --> 00:47:26.000
But it's my home.

456
00:47:26.000 --> 00:47:30.000
And I can take authority in the spirit realm because I have been elevated.

457
00:47:30.000 --> 00:47:34.000
I'm far above all principality and power and might.

458
00:47:34.000 --> 00:47:37.000
And that's why you can rebuke devils.

459
00:47:37.000 --> 00:47:40.000
That's why they must obey.

460
00:47:40.000 --> 00:47:44.000
Even if you have low spiritual self-esteem,

461
00:47:44.000 --> 00:47:48.000
and you think you're the little toe on the foot of the body of Christ,

462
00:47:48.000 --> 00:47:54.000
even if you're the little toe, you're still far above all principality and power.

463
00:47:54.000 --> 00:48:00.000
You know when the wall was up, the Communist wall, the iron curtain,

464
00:48:00.000 --> 00:48:03.000
there was an East and West Germany kind of thing and said,

465
00:48:03.000 --> 00:48:09.000
get my book on the Believers' Authority into East Germany and within 10 years that wall will fall.

466
00:48:09.000 --> 00:48:12.000
I'm not saying it was that, but I'm not saying it wasn't.

467
00:48:12.000 --> 00:48:14.000
But within 10 years that wall fell.

468
00:48:14.000 --> 00:48:19.000
Because he knew if Believers could just understand who they are in Christ

469
00:48:19.000 --> 00:48:24.000
and exercise their God-given authority, it will change the whole system.

470
00:48:24.000 --> 00:48:26.000
Yeah.

471
00:48:26.000 --> 00:48:30.000
And for some of you, you just need to start exerting the Jesus authority that he gave you in your own life.

472
00:48:30.000 --> 00:48:36.000
Start there. Don't worry about geographical matters. Start with your own life.

473
00:48:36.000 --> 00:48:38.000
Hallelujah.

474
00:48:38.000 --> 00:48:42.000
See, somebody's going to catch this and actually go to work with it.

475
00:48:42.000 --> 00:48:45.000
And others are going to go, well, that was really nice.

476
00:48:45.000 --> 00:48:48.000
That was nice. I feel better.

477
00:48:48.000 --> 00:48:51.000
Please don't ever tell me it was a nice sermon.

478
00:48:51.000 --> 00:48:54.000
Rather, just don't say anything.

479
00:48:54.000 --> 00:49:02.000
If I die before the rapture, I put on my tombstone, he wasn't nice.

480
00:49:02.000 --> 00:49:06.000
The devil loves nice.

481
00:49:06.000 --> 00:49:10.000
Nice.

482
00:49:11.000 --> 00:49:14.000
Don't be nice. Satan isn't.

483
00:49:14.000 --> 00:49:16.000
Be a table-turner.

484
00:49:16.000 --> 00:49:19.000
A table flipper over.

485
00:49:19.000 --> 00:49:23.000
Be like the apostles when they said those who've turned the whole world upside down.

486
00:49:23.000 --> 00:49:27.000
Those troublemakers that they're here too.

487
00:49:27.000 --> 00:49:29.000
Let's confess it.

488
00:49:29.000 --> 00:49:33.000
You're seated in heavenly places.

489
00:49:33.000 --> 00:49:36.000
By the way, you don't have to be weird about this, right?

490
00:49:37.000 --> 00:49:40.000
Like right now, I'm trying to teach you so we're all confessing it.

491
00:49:40.000 --> 00:49:42.000
You don't have to be weird about it.

492
00:49:42.000 --> 00:49:45.000
Throughout your day, agree with the Word of God.

493
00:49:45.000 --> 00:49:50.000
Find the Word of God where it says you have something and just speak those things.

494
00:49:50.000 --> 00:49:54.000
Yeah. That doesn't mean you have to be religious and weird.

495
00:49:54.000 --> 00:49:57.000
Doesn't mean you can't open up to anyone.

496
00:49:57.000 --> 00:50:01.000
Like some people get carried away with this teaching and they can't even say I have a headache.

497
00:50:01.000 --> 00:50:04.000
You see them in pain. You're like, what's up, man?

498
00:50:04.000 --> 00:50:07.000
I'm the healed of the Lord, highly favored and blessed.

499
00:50:07.000 --> 00:50:10.000
Yeah, but you look miserable. What's going on? Well, I can't say.

500
00:50:10.000 --> 00:50:11.000
Yeah, you can.

501
00:50:11.000 --> 00:50:17.000
You don't have to say it all the time, all week long, but you can tell me what's wrong.

502
00:50:17.000 --> 00:50:20.000
Hey, man.

503
00:50:20.000 --> 00:50:23.000
It's good to have bunny Andrews.

504
00:50:23.000 --> 00:50:25.000
His whole family is here, actually.

505
00:50:25.000 --> 00:50:28.000
He came in. I wasn't expecting him.

506
00:50:28.000 --> 00:50:31.000
He said, where's your wife? I said, she's backslidden, man.

507
00:50:31.000 --> 00:50:34.000
He laughed. I laughed.

508
00:50:34.000 --> 00:50:38.000
She's, you know, somebody religious.

509
00:50:38.000 --> 00:50:40.000
How could you say that? Are you Christian?

510
00:50:40.000 --> 00:50:41.000
I've just reticked your pill, man.

511
00:50:41.000 --> 00:50:46.000
Relax. I'm not going to argue with my friend.

512
00:50:46.000 --> 00:50:49.000
She's in Pennsylvania.

513
00:50:49.000 --> 00:50:53.000
It's graduation season. She has an Easter, graduated high school, a bunch of birthdays.

514
00:50:53.000 --> 00:50:56.000
I have an a time of their lives.

515
00:50:56.000 --> 00:50:59.000
You can have some close friends confiding them.

516
00:50:59.000 --> 00:51:01.000
Talk about what you're going through.

517
00:51:01.000 --> 00:51:04.000
But there's folks, they don't know how to turn that off.

518
00:51:04.000 --> 00:51:06.000
And they're just, I say this with love.

519
00:51:06.000 --> 00:51:09.000
Their mouth is like an open pit of cesspool.

520
00:51:09.000 --> 00:51:12.000
Just they kept diarrhea of the mouth.

521
00:51:12.000 --> 00:51:14.000
And they're cursing themselves.

522
00:51:14.000 --> 00:51:16.000
Doesn't sound like they're cursing.

523
00:51:16.000 --> 00:51:21.000
But even every exhale.

524
00:51:21.000 --> 00:51:25.000
You know, no, I don't know. Why don't you tell me?

525
00:51:25.000 --> 00:51:27.000
What does the word say?

526
00:51:27.000 --> 00:51:30.000
Agree with that.

527
00:51:30.000 --> 00:51:34.000
Did we do the confession? I don't even know where we are right now.

528
00:51:34.000 --> 00:51:36.000
All right. Say this.

529
00:51:36.000 --> 00:51:39.000
I was crucified with Christ.

530
00:51:39.000 --> 00:51:42.000
When he was made alive.

531
00:51:42.000 --> 00:51:45.000
I was made alive with him.

532
00:51:45.000 --> 00:51:48.000
I was raised up together with him.

533
00:51:48.000 --> 00:51:53.000
I was raised up together with him and made to sit together.

534
00:51:53.000 --> 00:52:00.000
With him in heavenly places.

535
00:52:00.000 --> 00:52:07.000
Today, positionally, I am seated with Christ in heavenly places.

536
00:52:07.000 --> 00:52:09.000
Hallelujah.

537
00:52:09.000 --> 00:52:12.000
Worship team, come on up.

538
00:52:12.000 --> 00:52:14.000
I got one more here.

539
00:52:14.000 --> 00:52:17.000
Number five.

540
00:52:17.000 --> 00:52:24.000
I realize I mentioned Kenneth Hague and let me read this quote to you from him.

541
00:52:24.000 --> 00:52:29.000
The majority of Christians, those sincere, are weak.

542
00:52:29.000 --> 00:52:34.000
This is because they never really dared confess what God's word says about them.

543
00:52:34.000 --> 00:52:39.000
They have never dared confess that they are what the Bible says they are.

544
00:52:39.000 --> 00:52:49.000
That they are who the Bible says they are and that they have what the Bible says they have.

545
00:52:49.000 --> 00:52:53.000
Well, that's not going to be the case at City Light.

546
00:52:53.000 --> 00:53:02.000
We're raising up a generation of believers who know who they are in Jesus and who dare to agree with what the word says about who they are in Jesus.

547
00:53:02.000 --> 00:53:06.000
And you'll find some areas of your life quickly lined up with the word of God.

548
00:53:06.000 --> 00:53:09.000
Other areas, there is a battle.

549
00:53:09.000 --> 00:53:12.000
Where's the battle in the arena of faith?

550
00:53:12.000 --> 00:53:15.000
Hallelujah.

551
00:53:15.000 --> 00:53:23.000
You know, just statistically speaking in the natural church planting in New York City is harder than anywhere else in the country.

552
00:53:23.000 --> 00:53:27.000
In the natural.

553
00:53:28.000 --> 00:53:34.000
Having large influential churches is harder in New York City than say Texas or the vast majority of the country.

554
00:53:34.000 --> 00:53:35.000
That's in the natural.

555
00:53:35.000 --> 00:53:37.000
So we have this battle.

556
00:53:37.000 --> 00:53:38.000
We can't ignore it.

557
00:53:38.000 --> 00:53:39.000
There's a battle.

558
00:53:39.000 --> 00:53:42.000
But it's in the arena of faith.

559
00:53:42.000 --> 00:53:47.000
So we're going to continue preaching, lifting up Jesus, declaring the gospel,

560
00:53:47.000 --> 00:53:54.000
and believing that he wants to bring revival to the country, to the city, and use us.

561
00:53:54.000 --> 00:53:57.000
We get to be a part of it.

562
00:53:57.000 --> 00:53:58.000
And we're going to keep believing.

563
00:53:58.000 --> 00:54:02.000
And then when you know what happens when you believe, you act that way.

564
00:54:02.000 --> 00:54:03.000
Yeah.

565
00:54:03.000 --> 00:54:05.000
And when you really believe, you speak that way.

566
00:54:05.000 --> 00:54:12.000
Earlier I said, I'll know what you're believing by what you're saying.

567
00:54:12.000 --> 00:54:14.000
And same goes true with your life.

568
00:54:14.000 --> 00:54:15.000
What are you believing?

569
00:54:15.000 --> 00:54:18.000
And not what are you hoping in general specifically for this summer?

570
00:54:18.000 --> 00:54:21.000
What are you believing God for?

571
00:54:21.000 --> 00:54:22.000
Ask Him.

572
00:54:22.000 --> 00:54:26.000
Find Word that covers your request and begin to agree with God's Word.

573
00:54:26.000 --> 00:54:29.000
And watch your high priest.

574
00:54:29.000 --> 00:54:30.000
Watch your man action.

575
00:54:30.000 --> 00:54:32.000
He's never failed me yet.

576
00:54:32.000 --> 00:54:36.000
Number five, Ephesians 1-3.

577
00:54:36.000 --> 00:54:38.000
We did five things that you have.

578
00:54:38.000 --> 00:54:39.000
Let me just recap them real quick.

579
00:54:39.000 --> 00:54:43.000
Number one, you have realized promises because you have the righteousness of God.

580
00:54:43.000 --> 00:54:47.000
Number two, you have kingship.

581
00:54:47.000 --> 00:54:49.000
Number three, you have the victory.

582
00:54:49.000 --> 00:54:50.000
Number four.

583
00:54:50.000 --> 00:54:53.000
You're seated with Him in heavenly places.

584
00:54:53.000 --> 00:54:57.000
Number five, you have every spiritual blessing, Ephesians 1-3.

585
00:54:57.000 --> 00:55:02.000
Fall in love with the past tense of God's Word.

586
00:55:02.000 --> 00:55:06.000
You see how that says, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

587
00:55:06.000 --> 00:55:09.000
who has blessed us.

588
00:55:09.000 --> 00:55:12.000
See that ED part?

589
00:55:12.000 --> 00:55:16.000
Take your physical Bible, highlight the ED, then take the red marker out, circle it.

590
00:55:16.000 --> 00:55:19.000
Take the blue marker out, put three lines underneath.

591
00:55:19.000 --> 00:55:21.000
This is what a good 1980s Bible used to look like.

592
00:55:21.000 --> 00:55:22.000
It's color coded.

593
00:55:22.000 --> 00:55:28.000
When you knew we're serious, ED, he has blessed past tense.

594
00:55:28.000 --> 00:55:32.000
Do you know the whole world is saved in potential format?

595
00:55:32.000 --> 00:55:34.000
Did you know that?

596
00:55:34.000 --> 00:55:37.000
Jesus took away everyone's sins.

597
00:55:37.000 --> 00:55:40.000
See people who get real nervous, oh no.

598
00:55:40.000 --> 00:55:42.000
Uh-oh, Pastor.

599
00:55:42.000 --> 00:55:46.000
I knew Pastor was positive, but is he becoming one of those like universalists?

600
00:55:46.000 --> 00:55:47.000
No, just listen.

601
00:55:47.000 --> 00:55:50.000
In potential format, Jesus did away with sin.

602
00:55:50.000 --> 00:55:52.000
It was nailed to the cross.

603
00:55:52.000 --> 00:55:56.000
John the Baptist saw him afar, ways off, and said, behold the Lamb of God, who what?

604
00:55:56.000 --> 00:55:59.000
He takes away the sin of the world.

605
00:55:59.000 --> 00:56:01.000
Is everybody saved?

606
00:56:01.000 --> 00:56:07.000
No, because they haven't agreed with God's Word yet that says that they are.

607
00:56:07.000 --> 00:56:09.000
Maybe nobody told them.

608
00:56:09.000 --> 00:56:11.000
Maybe someone told them they didn't believe.

609
00:56:11.000 --> 00:56:17.000
But the moment they agree and go, I believe, I believe, and I confess and I agree with God's Word

610
00:56:17.000 --> 00:56:21.000
that Jesus came sinless into the world to save sinners.

611
00:56:21.000 --> 00:56:26.000
The gift of eternal life is deposit into their spirit.

612
00:56:26.000 --> 00:56:29.000
And that's how it is for everything.

613
00:56:29.000 --> 00:56:36.000
Agree with God's Word and you receive.

614
00:56:36.000 --> 00:56:40.000
You know, I feel like I could keep preaching, but I feel to stop on that.

615
00:56:40.000 --> 00:56:44.000
Point number five may fall a little flat, and we have a confession there,

616
00:56:44.000 --> 00:56:46.000
but I want you just to bow your heads right now.

617
00:56:46.000 --> 00:56:48.000
Thank you, Jesus.

618
00:56:48.000 --> 00:56:50.000
Thank you, Lord.

619
00:56:50.000 --> 00:56:52.000
Penteil de la Vesta.

620
00:56:52.000 --> 00:56:55.000
Cudante de la Védiche de Samantha.

621
00:56:55.000 --> 00:56:59.000
I remember, I've spoken several people now.

622
00:56:59.000 --> 00:57:05.000
I remember a few years back in the mid-2000s,

623
00:57:05.000 --> 00:57:08.000
because I'd taken a bunch of lumps on the head.

624
00:57:08.000 --> 00:57:11.000
The Lord said, you have wounded faith.

625
00:57:11.000 --> 00:57:14.000
You need your faith healed.

626
00:57:14.000 --> 00:57:16.000
He said, you've got wounded faith.

627
00:57:16.000 --> 00:57:19.000
He said, because some things didn't work out the way you thought they were going to work out.

628
00:57:19.000 --> 00:57:23.000
And now you're chicken.

629
00:57:23.000 --> 00:57:26.000
You're crowning. You're cowering.

630
00:57:26.000 --> 00:57:30.000
You're not really believing me, because you think you're going to be let down.

631
00:57:30.000 --> 00:57:33.000
But even with those things that didn't go the way you thought it'd go, have I left you?

632
00:57:33.000 --> 00:57:36.000
Have I ever been bad to you? And I said no, Lord.

633
00:57:36.000 --> 00:57:40.000
Still, you took things that happened that were bad,

634
00:57:40.000 --> 00:57:43.000
which really I'd no one to blame by myself.

635
00:57:43.000 --> 00:57:47.000
And actually, when I look back, you turn my trash into gold.

636
00:57:47.000 --> 00:57:50.000
You made all things work together for the good.

637
00:57:50.000 --> 00:57:54.000
So I don't know why I have wounded faith for.

638
00:57:54.000 --> 00:57:56.000
I got duped. I got tricked.

639
00:57:56.000 --> 00:57:59.000
The Lord is healing wounded faith right now,

640
00:57:59.000 --> 00:58:02.000
and calling you to believe again.

641
00:58:02.000 --> 00:58:04.000
Hallelujah.
