We're back from Guatemala. 11 00:01:12.000 --> 00:01:23.000 From our missions trip, we want to thank you City Light for sending us, enabling us to go and enabling us to minister in that region for 15 years. 12 00:01:23.000 --> 00:01:36.000 Can you believe it? 15 years, we've ministered there, visited hundreds of churches in 15 years, preached the gospel, helped pay for the supplies and build 40 plus church buildings. 13 00:01:36.000 --> 00:01:50.000 You can give the Lord a hand for that. We had 26 on fire, no other gods but Jesus City Lighters come with us. 14 00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:58.000 And I want to give them an opportunity this morning to share what they observed, what they experienced, and what the Lord has done in their heart. 15 00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:08.000 And this will minister to you. Nobody who's going to share is in full-time ministry, but God occupies their hearts full-time. 16 00:02:08.000 --> 00:02:13.000 And whatever the Lord has done in their lives know that He can do in yours. 17 00:02:13.000 --> 00:02:19.000 And we're commanded by the Lord to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 18 00:02:19.000 --> 00:02:24.000 And we went into the part of the world, but thankfully we live in a city where the world has come to us. 19 00:02:24.000 --> 00:02:33.000 Any given time, depending on what nation is being recognized or not, there's about 180 to 196 countries in the world. 20 00:02:33.000 --> 00:02:46.000 161 of them are in Queens, not even in the whole five Earths are in Queens. That means 80% plus of the world lives here and you can be a missionary without even having a passport. 21 00:02:46.000 --> 00:02:54.000 So let me just get five or six people who want to share first. So let me start with saying I know that I was supposed to be on this trip. 28 00:03:35.000 --> 00:03:45.000 It was a confirmed word that I remember Nathaniel prayed over me, not only my heart for the nation, but he saw me surrounded by kids and this fit exactly into that. 29 00:03:45.000 --> 00:03:49.000 So just know that when the Lord gives you a word, he's going to fulfill it. 30 00:03:49.000 --> 00:03:57.000 I thought it was going to die when this trip started. I'm not kidding. I actually thought we landed on the planning Guatemala. I actually had the fear that I was actually going to die. 31 00:03:57.000 --> 00:04:06.000 I started having serious medical complications on the plane and that fear was there from Satan to keep me from going. 32 00:04:06.000 --> 00:04:15.000 I was thinking about how I could turn back, how I was going to coordinate a flight back to New York and my brothers and sisters and Christ prayed for me. 33 00:04:15.000 --> 00:04:22.000 We got rid of the fear. I stood strong in the faith that I had in the Lord and I didn't let that deter me. 34 00:04:22.000 --> 00:04:35.000 So I'm not continuing into the first day to where I were renounced all that and I took my faith over fear and what I knew needed to manifest in the fifth of the day. 35 00:04:36.000 --> 00:04:40.000 And not only that, but that's because the Lord wanted to get different words to people. 36 00:04:40.000 --> 00:04:45.000 So Chris had shared earlier in the previous service about a woman where he got a word from the Lord. 37 00:04:45.000 --> 00:04:55.000 And this was such a confirmation, a word of knowledge. I prayed over this woman. I felt that she needed to be prayed over and I had touched her hands for healing. 38 00:04:55.000 --> 00:05:04.000 Then as I walked away, I thought, okay, there's actually someone in her family that needs healing. I went back and I asked her and it turned out that she did have two people in her family that needed healing. 39 00:05:04.000 --> 00:05:12.000 So we were able to pray over her, tell her that we're praying, but that the Lord was going to release healing through her, even if she didn't see it when she got back. 40 00:05:12.000 --> 00:05:18.000 So Nestor, thank you for helping me to translate with her. But the point was she wanted the Lord wanted her to know that he saw her. 41 00:05:18.000 --> 00:05:27.000 So when I was done praying for her, then Chris spoke to her as well and got the same word and that gave me the knowledge and courage that the Lord was speaking to me. 42 00:05:27.000 --> 00:05:30.000 It was literally the exact same word that the Lord saw her. 43 00:05:30.000 --> 00:05:40.000 So also know that if you don't hear the Lord the first time, he's not just going to not get the message to you. He'll send another person to make sure that you get it. 44 00:05:40.000 --> 00:05:50.000 And I was able to give a few other words to people, one child that he'd be a landowner, one child that he would write music, even though he was a drummer, that the Lord would give him songs. 45 00:05:50.000 --> 00:05:57.000 And one of our cooks that the Lord would restore the years that she was out of the faith. So I just got a couple little bullet notes. 47 00:06:09.000 --> 00:06:17.000 So I'm past the boy I first mentioned that they were going to do this Guatemala trip because I was actually sitting somewhere in that area. 48 00:06:17.000 --> 00:06:28.000 And as soon as he was done saying, hey, we're going to plan to do this upcoming trip. She looked over to me and she said, I don't know what you're doing that week, but I'll be in Guatemala. 49 00:06:28.000 --> 00:06:33.000 So I had to get my application. 50 00:06:33.000 --> 00:06:36.000 So yeah, it was an amazing trip. 51 00:06:36.000 --> 00:06:42.000 A couple of days before the trip, I started to have issues with my left foot. 52 00:06:42.000 --> 00:06:51.000 I was getting swollen and stuff. And I couldn't put any pressure on it. And I had originally signed up to be part of the construction team, which I was really excited about. 53 00:06:51.000 --> 00:06:57.000 And I was getting really bombed. Not only can I not be a part of it, but I was starting to think I'm going to be a liability on this trip. 54 00:06:57.000 --> 00:07:01.000 I should just hit up past the boy on a Saturday. I don't know like this. 55 00:07:01.000 --> 00:07:05.000 I don't think I'm going to make it because I'm just going to hold the trip back. And it's just going to be an issue. 56 00:07:05.000 --> 00:07:11.000 But glory to God, he spoke to me through some people and told me I needed to be on this trip. 57 00:07:11.000 --> 00:07:18.000 And it was a blessing to be part of the VBS team to work with the kids. 58 00:07:18.000 --> 00:07:21.000 It was a blessing I didn't expect to have. 59 00:07:21.000 --> 00:07:25.000 Because like I said, I was originally just only thinking about doing the construction work. 60 00:07:25.000 --> 00:07:36.000 But the opportunities the Lord gave me to pray over some of these kids, pray over some of the teachers that were there was truly remarkable. 61 00:07:36.000 --> 00:07:40.000 So the Lord can take anything and really use it. 62 00:07:40.000 --> 00:07:45.000 There was a couple of things that stood out to me, which was on one of the services. 63 00:07:45.000 --> 00:07:50.000 I believe it was night number two after we were done with our service with the kids. 64 00:07:50.000 --> 00:08:00.000 But right before we headed up with Pastor Barnes to pray over the members of the church, there was a little boy that came up to me and said that he needed prayer that he had. 65 00:08:00.000 --> 00:08:06.000 He was dealing with some stomach pain. But this wasn't a normal stomach ache. 66 00:08:06.000 --> 00:08:16.000 This was, I got the information, this was like something internal, something within the organs, something a lot more serious than just a little stomach ache. 67 00:08:16.000 --> 00:08:23.000 So see, I ever happened to be next to me and I got Kate to come over as well and we prayed for that little boy. 68 00:08:23.000 --> 00:08:27.000 And when we were done, we gave it all we had. 69 00:08:27.000 --> 00:08:34.000 And when we were done and to see that boy lift his head with tears on his eyes, saying that he doesn't feel any pain anymore. 70 00:08:40.000 --> 00:08:44.000 It really is only something that I can do. 71 00:08:44.000 --> 00:08:49.000 Then Kate shared this early at the first service. 72 00:08:49.000 --> 00:08:53.000 We prayed over one of the teachers there. Brian came along and helped us too. 73 00:08:53.000 --> 00:09:06.000 We just prayed the peace of God over her. One of the things that stood out is that even though for some of us there was a language barrier, when God wants to get a message through, there is no barrier. 74 00:09:06.000 --> 00:09:15.000 And at the end we got to ask her how she felt and she just pointed at her heart saying that she just felt the peace of God like when it was all over. 75 00:09:15.000 --> 00:09:29.000 So it was just an incredible trip. And I'll finish off with this. One of the biggest things I got out of it was an increase in boldness when it comes to praying for others. 76 00:09:29.000 --> 00:09:40.000 When we were at one of the services, they warned us that you may see some manifestations and stuff of that nature, especially if you're not accustomed to seeing that, just be aware it may come out. 77 00:09:40.000 --> 00:09:52.000 And I've seen it before, but I've always just like I never went up to pray for anybody about it. I just would wherever I was sitting out, I would just pray over the person. So pretty much from a distance. 78 00:09:52.000 --> 00:10:00.000 So I remember when we were praying at the second service when he had a festival and had thought pretty much almost the whole congregation come up and we had to go forth and just start praying for people. 79 00:10:00.000 --> 00:10:11.000 I'm praying for this young man. And I see this lady kind of manifesting and it's kind of irking my spirit a little bit. Like she's kind of annoying me, but not in a personal way, not like she does something wrong. 80 00:10:11.000 --> 00:10:22.000 It's like the fact that the devil thinks that he still has territory, even though he's already lost. So I'm praying for this man, but I can't leave him, because I don't want to chip him out of his own blessing. 81 00:10:22.000 --> 00:10:29.000 So I finished with him. And when I was done, I like bypassed like 17 other people who came up for prayer. And I just went straight to that lady. 82 00:10:29.000 --> 00:10:35.000 Because there was just something that made me that was like, all right, these things, we got to start nipping them in the bud, you know, start hanging them in the room. 83 00:10:35.000 --> 00:10:43.000 So just an increase of bonus that came from this trip was absolutely amazing. I'm hoping everything lands just as well. Second service. 87 00:10:59.000 --> 00:11:08.000 So first and foremost, I'm still in many of us all riding this Holy Spirit wave of just how cohesive this team worked together while we were there. 88 00:11:09.000 --> 00:11:16.000 How powerful, how effective our prayer was there. And quite honestly, just how many tortillas with the red sauce we put down. 89 00:11:16.000 --> 00:11:18.000 It was amazing to watch. Very grateful. 90 00:11:18.000 --> 00:11:26.000 But it's also a testament to the Holy Spirit working through us that we were able to quite simply go there, do what we were called to do. 91 00:11:26.000 --> 00:11:32.000 And for a large portion of that, we were called to do battle and prayer. And as you've heard in these testimonies, it wasn't glamorous. 92 00:11:32.000 --> 00:11:40.000 It may not have been an immediate, durable change in the natural, but the seeds Lord used us to plant the lives, the Lord called us to touch, 93 00:11:40.000 --> 00:11:50.000 whether it was by stirring up concrete in a room that'll later be used to worship the Lord and spirit and in truth, or whether it was the songs we sang with children reminding them to have joy in their heart. 94 00:11:50.000 --> 00:11:57.000 When we placed hands on a minister to the still spiritually oppressed to show people in the region to help them receive the love of God, 95 00:11:57.000 --> 00:12:02.000 it was and forever will be for the glory of God and the furtherings of the kingdom and Jesus' name. 96 00:12:02.000 --> 00:12:14.000 As Paul tells us in Ephesians 6, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, the authorities, the world forces of this darkness and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. 97 00:12:14.000 --> 00:12:24.000 So without getting too deep into the thoughts and theories behind it, it's enough to say that this region for hundreds, if not thousands of years, worshiped the false gods and idols. 98 00:12:24.000 --> 00:12:29.000 And their gods were a wrathful, unappeasing, unforgiving, unloving gods. 99 00:12:29.000 --> 00:12:42.000 And so when the Spanish came and implemented Catholicism, as one of our team members Chris really powerfully put it, they just treated one god for another, but their method, their manner and their mentality and worship and identity didn't change. 100 00:12:42.000 --> 00:12:51.000 And even as they became Christians, they still struggle with the weight of feeling unworthy in a faith destructive, in a faith inhibiting sense. 101 00:12:51.000 --> 00:13:02.000 Their cries and whales are not, excuse me, their cries, whales and finally shaking are not what Paul had in mind when he tells us in Philippians to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. 102 00:13:02.000 --> 00:13:10.000 This fear they felt was not an all-struck, reverential one, but rather an incoming destruction, wrathful, vengeful god sort of fear. 103 00:13:10.000 --> 00:13:21.000 The trembling was not from the weight of God's presence on them, but the weight of their own guilt, their own shame, their own fear of not being able to appease God themselves. 104 00:13:21.000 --> 00:13:32.000 Their violent shaking would evolve into convulsions and projectile vomiting and that told us we're in the midst of a battle, but we simply had to remind them who had already won. 105 00:13:32.000 --> 00:13:42.000 And as we began to minister in lay hands on the people that first night there at church service, passable had preached powerful message reminding the people of the rest they have in Jesus. 106 00:13:42.000 --> 00:13:57.000 That need for striving, for earning, for begging, for working, for God's love and forgiveness was bowed with a sermon highlighting the equal righteousness we have in Christ, not at all of our own doing, but because of his great love and sacrifice for us on the cross. 107 00:13:57.000 --> 00:14:02.000 And this was, and maybe even for this room, for some of you, it's a radical view, and it's difficult to accept. 108 00:14:02.000 --> 00:14:08.000 And in that room, with the Echial people, it certainly felt that way that they struggled initially to accept that truth. 109 00:14:08.000 --> 00:14:13.000 But as we laid hands and prayed, I believe identities and Christ were realized in old ways. 110 00:14:13.000 --> 00:14:16.000 Oh, excuse me, old ways were exchanged for a new wine. 111 00:14:16.000 --> 00:14:26.000 I was particularly thinking about this occurrence at the end of ministry time that first night when I walked past the gentleman and he was whispering a sound that was both foreign and familiar at the same time. 112 00:14:26.000 --> 00:14:38.000 And as he spoke and he swayed back and forth in his denim jacket, I looked at his face and there was a really long length of snot just coming down that left nostril and I immediately walked right past him and said, nope, not you. 113 00:14:38.000 --> 00:14:44.000 And I don't think the Lord liked that very much. He kind of highlighted him in my heart and I was like, Lord, are you sure? 114 00:14:44.000 --> 00:14:48.000 You know, I don't want to get what he has and he said, I'm pretty sure, I'm pretty sure. 115 00:14:48.000 --> 00:14:55.000 So as I approached him and put my hands on him, started to pray, his swaying actually became even more violent and he started shaking. 116 00:14:55.000 --> 00:14:59.000 And because crying out, his wails turned to loud, loud, anguish cries. 117 00:14:59.000 --> 00:15:05.000 And my first thought was that it was something in the spirit realm that caused that reaction in him and I had to go. 118 00:15:05.000 --> 00:15:11.000 Now, I rebuked whatever voice it was, it wasn't the Lord's and I reiterated and prayed to him that he is a new creation in Christ. 119 00:15:11.000 --> 00:15:17.000 I continued to observe its reactions that prayed and I felt that he was doing a lot of what he was doing because he felt like that was the only way to access God. 120 00:15:17.000 --> 00:15:22.000 God only see him if he shook, if he cried out, if he did all those things. 121 00:15:22.000 --> 00:15:28.000 But I reminded him and asked him to repeat after me that he was saved by the blood of Jesus. 122 00:15:28.000 --> 00:15:34.000 He was a love and accepted by God the Father. He didn't have to plead or agonize or work to receive God's love and forgiveness. 123 00:15:34.000 --> 00:15:37.000 He was already forgiven. 124 00:15:37.000 --> 00:15:41.000 As he repeated each of these things out loud, I observed the physical difference in his demeanor. 125 00:15:41.000 --> 00:15:48.000 He went from violently shaking and swaying to sort of just standing there with palms wide open in a receptive demeanor. 126 00:15:49.000 --> 00:15:55.000 Finally, we said together, I can rest in Jesus, single the scandal and his suit. 127 00:15:55.000 --> 00:16:02.000 He completely stopped the whaling. He sort of just stood there in a posture of peace and his uttering turned into a surrendered silence. 128 00:16:02.000 --> 00:16:07.000 He encountered grace and I felt so happy for him and grateful for the Lord blessing him in that moment. 129 00:16:07.000 --> 00:16:12.000 So among many precious moments and conversations and friendships that we built on this trip, 130 00:16:12.000 --> 00:16:18.000 that one surely is among the top for me and I'm believing his life is forever changed in that identity revealing moment. 131 00:16:18.000 --> 00:16:20.000 Praise the Lord. 132 00:16:27.000 --> 00:16:30.000 Good afternoon. 00:16:42.000 --> 00:16:45.000 That was before COVID happened. 136 00:16:45.000 --> 00:16:55.000 And even though this was my second time going to Guatemala, God definitely did a new thing in me. 137 00:16:55.000 --> 00:16:59.000 And it was just a whole different experience. 138 00:16:59.000 --> 00:17:07.000 And to start, I have to say that the group that went to this trip, we were all so united. 139 00:17:07.000 --> 00:17:10.000 It was just beautiful. 140 00:17:10.000 --> 00:17:17.000 The level of trust and comfort that we had, we won another. 141 00:17:17.000 --> 00:17:23.000 Just to have that sense, we all had the same goal, we all on the same page. 142 00:17:23.000 --> 00:17:28.000 And we just want to release God's healing power over his people. 143 00:17:28.000 --> 00:17:31.000 It was just beautiful. 144 00:17:31.000 --> 00:17:38.000 So in 2019, when I went to Guatemala, God called me to minister to children. 145 00:17:38.000 --> 00:17:44.000 He put in my heart to just help children to be rooted in the true identity. 146 00:17:44.000 --> 00:17:51.000 And it was after that trip that I ended up becoming one of the city kids coordinators. 147 00:17:51.000 --> 00:17:58.000 And then when I heard that the dude and Victor were going to join us to this trip, 148 00:17:58.000 --> 00:18:07.000 I was filled with so much joy because having been able to see them coming to city kids 149 00:18:07.000 --> 00:18:16.000 and just see them grow in this spirit and just to see the fruit of the spirit in that trip, 150 00:18:16.000 --> 00:18:19.000 come alive. 151 00:18:19.000 --> 00:18:25.000 When they go to city kids and they just embrace the word of God, 152 00:18:25.000 --> 00:18:35.000 it was just powerful to see at nine-year-old, 11-year-old, with such boldness, 153 00:18:35.000 --> 00:18:41.000 you know, praying over not only over kids, but everyone. 154 00:18:41.000 --> 00:18:47.000 Their boldness was just so amazing. 155 00:18:51.000 --> 00:18:57.000 It's funny because it was interesting to see their innocence during the day, 156 00:18:57.000 --> 00:19:01.000 playing Uno cards and spoons and all that, 157 00:19:01.000 --> 00:19:05.000 playing, running around the camp, and then at night it was just filled with the Holy Spirit 158 00:19:05.000 --> 00:19:07.000 and it filled the fire. 159 00:19:07.000 --> 00:19:14.000 It was like, well, you know what, what happened here, it was just very powerful. 160 00:19:14.000 --> 00:19:23.000 So, I'm sorry, just really trying to cut up. 161 00:19:23.000 --> 00:19:28.000 You know, that's what God's calling me to do. 162 00:19:28.000 --> 00:19:34.000 It was just confirmation that this is what I want to see in your children's life. 163 00:19:34.000 --> 00:19:37.000 This is what I want to see in my children's life, you know, 164 00:19:37.000 --> 00:19:43.000 and just to remind them of who they are in Christ. 165 00:19:43.000 --> 00:19:49.000 So, there's this story, I want to share this testimony of this little boy 166 00:19:49.000 --> 00:19:52.000 that I met during our last BBS. 167 00:19:52.000 --> 00:19:58.000 He was so small, and I just saw like pain in his eyes, 168 00:19:58.000 --> 00:20:04.000 and he just looked at me and came to give me a hug. 169 00:20:04.000 --> 00:20:08.000 And that day, for those that were doing BBS, 170 00:20:08.000 --> 00:20:12.000 that day we received so many hugs, so much love. 171 00:20:12.000 --> 00:20:15.000 It was like one after another, one after another. 172 00:20:15.000 --> 00:20:19.000 Even the same kids would hold you and really hard, 173 00:20:19.000 --> 00:20:24.000 but this kid was just special when he hugged me. 174 00:20:24.000 --> 00:20:30.000 Even though he was tiny, I felt like his hug was so powerful. 175 00:20:30.000 --> 00:20:35.000 It was like filled with healing. 176 00:20:35.000 --> 00:20:43.000 It felt like a giant was hugging me, even though he was tiny. 177 00:20:43.000 --> 00:20:47.000 So, yeah, healing power was definitely coming from that hug, 178 00:20:47.000 --> 00:20:52.000 so I started praying over him and talking, you know, 179 00:20:52.000 --> 00:20:57.000 telling him the calling that God was giving him to heal people. 180 00:20:57.000 --> 00:21:02.000 And I encouraged him to use his hugs whenever he saw a sadness in people 181 00:21:02.000 --> 00:21:05.000 just to hug them. 182 00:21:05.000 --> 00:21:10.000 And I was so amazed by the power of his hugs that I even started asking him to, 183 00:21:10.000 --> 00:21:12.000 like, hug all the teachers. 184 00:21:12.000 --> 00:21:15.000 I was like, oh, yeah, Eddie, oh, Carolina. 185 00:21:15.000 --> 00:21:18.000 And like, because it was just, it was amazing. 186 00:21:18.000 --> 00:21:22.000 And so, this other kid, you know, he was curious. 187 --> 00:21:35.000 And he said, looking confused, like, he likes to heat kids. 190 00:21:35.000 --> 00:21:38.000 Like, he heard others. 191 00:21:38.000 --> 00:21:41.000 Like, he's not a good kid. 192 Let's pray for the woman here. 253 00:27:02.000 --> 00:27:06.000 There's a couple of women that have been sitting in the back during the lesson. One of them had an eye issue. 256 00:27:15.000 --> 00:27:18.000 The other one had a rash on one of her legs. 257 00:27:18.000 --> 00:27:23.000 And the one that was closest next to me, you know, I spoke to her and say, you know, what's going on? What can I pray for you about? 258 00:27:23.000 --> 00:27:30.000 And she explained, well, you know, I have this just crazy headache and I just have pain all over my body. 259 00:27:30.000 --> 00:27:35.000 And I was like, all right, well, let's pray. Let's see what God is going to do here. 260 00:27:35.000 --> 00:27:40.000 So I started praying. I put my hand on her forehead. I put my other hand behind her back. 261 00:27:40.000 --> 00:27:45.000 And I'm praying and praying. I'm praying in English, by the way. So this lady doesn't really understand what I'm saying. 262 00:27:45.000 --> 00:27:49.000 And I hear coffee. 263 00:27:49.000 --> 00:27:54.000 And I'm like, man, this lady is really not feeling well, you know. 264 00:27:54.000 --> 00:28:02.000 I just start laying into it another minute later, praying and praying and praying. And suddenly, I'm like, okay. 265 00:28:02.000 --> 00:28:06.000 At this point, I'm thinking, I don't know why, but this is not something that's normal. 266 00:28:06.000 --> 00:28:13.000 So I start gently tapping her on the back and then she starts beating out all over the floor. 267 00:28:13.000 --> 00:28:20.000 And I'm asking her, you know, how are you feeling? She says, you know, I feel good, but like, I got a vomit. 268 00:28:20.000 --> 00:28:24.000 Like, I'm really like me to just release all this. 269 00:28:24.000 --> 00:28:31.000 And at this time, we were like interrupted because we really had to finish the lesson and kind of just go about our day. 270 00:28:31.000 --> 00:28:37.000 And when I try to find the lady again afterwards, she was gone. She wasn't in the school. 271 00:28:37.000 --> 00:28:41.000 But I continue to pray for her in my personal time. 272 00:28:41.000 --> 00:28:45.000 And, you know, just thinking about that testimony. 273 00:28:46.000 --> 00:28:53.000 I didn't mention this in the first service, but, you know, I remember having a conversation with Terry McComb, 274 00:28:53.000 --> 00:28:59.000 who was one of our hosts down in Guatemala, which there are amazing people, the Mike and Terry McComb. 275 00:28:59.000 --> 00:29:05.000 I remember we were having a conversation with them where they did an IQ test of the population in that area. 276 00:29:05.000 --> 00:29:11.000 And these people only have the ability to answer true or false questions. 277 00:29:11.000 --> 00:29:17.000 And while I was on a trip, I was reading this book called Sky People. 278 00:29:17.000 --> 00:29:24.000 It's about Mesoamerica and my people having these crazy experiences with these Sky Gods. 279 00:29:24.000 --> 00:29:32.000 And this is not something that, you know, these are not old stories. I spoke all over the country, and it gets exhausting. 303 00:31:54.000 --> 00:32:00.000 And I thought, I just want to go and do something with my hands. Is that we don't fight against flesh and blood, right? 312 00:32:40.000 --> 00:32:43.000 Principalities and powers, what our battle is with. 313 00:32:43.000 --> 00:32:51.000 And when I saw those people, and they're whaling, and they are physically showing the inward oppression, 314 00:32:51.000 --> 00:32:54.000 that was happening, was just coming out. 315 00:32:55.000 --> 00:33:02.000 When you see them do that, not once did I look at them and say, oh, I cannot believe this. 316 00:33:02.000 --> 00:33:06.000 Instead you run, you run freedom, right? Freedom. 317 00:33:06.000 --> 00:33:09.000 You want to see them experience freedom in Christ. 318 00:33:09.000 --> 00:33:13.000 Well, that happens here. It looks very different here, though. 319 00:33:13.000 --> 00:33:17.000 And it's so easy to walk right past them. That's an understatement. 329 00:34:06.000 --> 00:34:12.000 It was, I was actively seeking something more. 330 00:34:12.000 --> 00:34:20.000 I was looking for a radical movement, a connection, and I got it, and some. 331 00:34:20.000 --> 00:34:28.000 And there are so many moments during the trip that I can pick from that were so moving and so powerful. 332 00:34:28.000 --> 00:34:37.000 And the first service I spoke on just kind of not feeling like I didn't know how I could be used, 333 00:34:37.000 --> 00:34:44.000 not exactly feeling equipped, a little bit intimidated, and how God just washed all that away. 334 00:34:44.000 --> 00:34:53.000 I felt like, you know, during the altar calls, we were just unleashed on this crowd of people that are dealing with unworthiness, 335 00:34:53.000 --> 00:34:59.000 and this sort of ritualistic bowing down and groveling before God. 336 00:34:59.000 --> 00:35:07.000 And we were able to just go out into the crowd and pray over these people to break that spirit off of them. 337 00:35:07.000 --> 00:35:16.000 I was, what I didn't mention in the first service, but the second service, I didn't initially sign up for VBS. 338 00:35:16.000 --> 00:35:24.000 I signed up for the construction team because, you know, I just felt like, okay, I know how I can do that. 339 00:35:24.000 --> 00:35:35.000 It made sense to me. And so with the VBS on the last day, both my husband and my son, we were on that team. 340 00:35:35.000 --> 00:35:43.000 And I was completely, I was like, wow, I get this. The VBS, like this is where it's at. 341 00:35:43.000 --> 00:35:50.000 The innocence and the engagement of the children were so moving. 342 00:35:50.000 --> 00:35:54.000 They were just so thirsty and open for God, like there was no barriers. 343 00:35:54.000 --> 00:36:00.000 There was nothing you just saw in their eyes, and you saw them, like little lights. 344 00:36:00.000 --> 00:36:08.000 It was so beautiful and so moving. I felt like I'm supposed to be pouring into you guys, and I'm receiving. 345 00:36:08.000 --> 00:36:16.000 I felt like that moment was just amazing. It was, it was so moving. And what a joy it is to see kids, especially your own kids, serving the Lord. 351 00:36:50.000 --> 00:36:58.000 That was amazing. Doing that as a family was special. He wanted to call out one particular memory he had was Saturday night. 352 00:36:58.000 --> 00:37:06.000 He was able to pray for a number of people. He said, I remember praying alongside Miss Yari for one woman we could see who was feeling a lot of distress. 353 00:37:06.000 --> 00:37:11.000 As we prayed for her, we saw the peace of God in her face as she received his love and healing. 354 00:37:11.000 --> 00:37:20.000 So this is an amazing experience. I could just tell you, he's really anxious to get back at it and pray for people. 355 00:37:20.000 --> 00:37:25.000 I mean, he really enjoyed that. I think there's nothing like experiencing God flowing through you and touching somebody. 356 00:37:25.000 --> 00:37:34.000 He really experiences love in some kind of new, profound way. And I think he just, he saw a part of God's heart yet and seen before as he prayed for people. 357 00:37:35.000 --> 00:37:41.000 Alright, this is my bit here. I wanted this trip expecting to be impacted by ministering to the issue of people. 358 00:37:41.000 --> 00:37:46.000 And I was, it was awesome to see the Holy Spirit move and set people free. I'll never forget that. 359 00:37:46.000 --> 00:37:57.000 But something else happened on this trip that I was not expecting. I wasn't expecting to be so deeply impacted by being able to spend a week with this amazing, the amazing people of this church. 360 00:37:57.000 --> 00:38:02.000 We took flights and bus rides together. We prayed for other people and we prayed for each other. 361 00:38:02.000 --> 00:38:09.000 We shared meals together, morning, noon and night. I've gone to a lot of pain. 512 00:48:09.000 --> 00:48:12.000 I can't even pray over my family. 513 00:48:12.000 --> 00:48:14.000 And just the enemy started lying to me. 514 00:48:14.000 --> 00:48:17.000 And then just kind of how a lot of people shared, you know, you're there. 515 00:48:17.000 --> 00:48:19.000 And you're looking up at Pastor Boyle on this stage. 516 00:48:19.000 --> 00:48:20.000 And he says, now go. 517 00:48:20.000 --> 00:48:21.000 What are you going to do? 518 00:48:21.000 --> 00:48:22.000 No. 519 00:48:22.000 --> 00:48:24.000 So you're just going. 520 00:48:24.000 --> 00:48:25.000 And you're going in faith. 521 00:48:25.000 --> 00:48:29.000 And it was really a journey for me to go, wow, I'm doing this. 522 00:48:29.000 --> 00:48:33.000 And also being in this place of just questioning, is this working? God is not willing to do without. 606 00:53:19.000 --> 00:53:27.000 So I wanted a church that was so generous that it's pouring out into other countries that God would be unwilling to do without us. 607 00:53:27.000 --> 00:53:32.000 It's a secret to survival in New York City. That's right.
