And I chuckled, I thought he was kind of messing with me. 17 00:01:57.000 --> 00:02:01.000 He said, no, they think about corn all the time. 18 00:02:02.000 --> 00:02:10.000 This is, so you know, this isn't Guatemala City, this is eight hours away in the mine mountains, the remote villages. 19 00:02:10.000 --> 00:02:23.000 Where when we first got there in 2010, I would take a picture from my digital camera, and the whole village would run around to see a picture of themselves for the very first time on the digital camera. 20 00:02:24.000 --> 00:02:31.000 Five years later, they got the cheap Chinese smartphones, they got for $6, and they're taking pictures of me, and I've already seen that. 21 00:02:31.000 --> 00:02:38.000 You don't got to show me. Like how did I end up at that church? 38 00:05:07.000 --> 00:05:17.000 I was at a house party, which was really like my second house party, and it was just as disappointing as the first house party. 39 00:05:17.000 --> 00:05:23.000 You know I'm an unsafe guy, no Christianity in me, and I'm invited to a house party, you're 16. 40 00:05:23.000 --> 00:05:31.000 And all you have to go by is all the movies you've seen of house parties, people swinging from the light bulbs, crashing through windows, house parties. 41 00:05:31.000 --> 00:05:38.000 You get to tear up a place and it's not even your house, this is a great deal. And I went to light out on this couch, really just plop down on the couch, and as my hand slipped, it slipped between the cushions, and it touched this little track. 45 00:06:15.000 --> 00:06:25.000 And I opened it, and it's really, it's in the format of a comic book. And then about two pages in, I realized, oh, this is one of those religious tracks. 46 00:06:25.000 --> 00:06:40.000 But it really got me, and I read the whole thing in about five minutes, and even though my 16-year-old mind was going, what a cheesy, hokey, religious comic book illustrated. 47 00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:48.000 But there's so much scriptural truth in here that it pierced my heart, and that was some time the end of July. 48 00:06:48.000 --> 00:06:58.000 But I know I went to my friend, I said, Elena, I can't stop thinking about this thing. So, at first I didn't want to get this for the church, when the first church first started out, I believe in the power of these things. 51 00:07:20.000 --> 00:07:33.000 But I was 26, and so young, and cool, and hip. In 2002, I'm like, it's just an old, hokey track. 55 00:07:57.000 --> 00:08:11.000 But now it's 2026. Now when you use a 40-year-old piece of material, it's not old and hokey, it's classical. This right now, this springtime going on into early June, has typically been the greatest time for us to see new souls come to Jesus. 58 00:08:29.000 --> 00:08:39.000 Herding, starving souls like I was, who are hungry for the truth, they're hungry for something. He suffered for you. They knew what God was trying to do. They knew not to go against what God was trying to do but undergird and help the move of God. But really it should be... How do you know if a media person is lying? Here's Jesus in Matthew, I believe. He rebuked people who didn't know the signs of the times. Matthew 16 verses two through three. He's rebuking the religious leaders. If anybody should have been first to recognize him for who he is, it should have been them. And he's rebuking and saying, you can tell weather patterns. You can't tell the season Israel is in. Do not become like this. Know what age you live in. Know what is moving. And for that, you have to now be more clever than ever before. Why? And I quickly learned that giving is a theme from Genesis to Revelation. I worked at the gap on Austin Street. And my week's pay was $50. And I tied the $5. 337 01:10:34.000 --> 01:10:48.000 You know how much I tied last year? $2.131 million. Yeah. Could you imagine how much the church must pay me if I tied 2.1? No. 338 01:10:48.000 --> 01:11:13.000 Because people got away. No. The Lord blessed me. And he opened my eyes early to Bitcoin. And then I went heavy in these micro strategy options. And my finances changed. And I tied 2.1. And you know what I did with that tie? I paid the church back for my entire salary from 2002 up until the present age. And then some. 339 01:11:13.000 --> 01:11:31.000 So that I've been a full time. If anybody goes, I wonder how much your pastor makes nothing. He gave it all back with extra credit on top. And it was one of the greatest one.
