You actually have to do this. But he put forward a bill not that long ago on gun violence 73 00:06:50.960 --> 00:06:56.480 and gun crime. Now, look at the lectures we get endlessly from the Democrats about gun violence 74 00:06:56.480 --> 00:07:01.280 and how much they care about this subject. Well, Bill put forward a bill which was very clear 75 00:07:01.280 --> 00:07:08.800 that if you use, if you carry a gun while you're committing a crime and use it, you will have 76 00:07:08.880 --> 00:07:15.520 strict mandatory penalties jail term and it went up with each with the severity of each type of 77 00:07:15.520 --> 00:07:20.000 use. If you carried a gun while committing a crime, if you used it while committing a crime, 78 00:07:20.000 --> 00:07:24.800 if you injured someone while committing a crime or if you killed someone, each of those steps 79 00:07:24.800 --> 00:07:30.960 higher mandatory punishment with prison time. Right across America, people are celebrating because 108 00:10:19.280 --> 00:10:24.000 we have the lowest gas prices in America for four years. Thanks to President Trump, 109 00:10:24.000 --> 00:10:30.400 opening up domestic and American energy production everywhere except California, where our gas 110 00:10:30.400 --> 00:10:35.280 prices are not going down like the rest of the country. They're going up again. Another gas 111 00:10:35.280 --> 00:10:41.040 tax increase and another increase thanks to regulations from the California Air Resources Board 112 00:10:41.840 --> 00:10:47.520 on the low carbon fuel standard. So we have the highest gas prices in the country as a direct result 113 00:10:47.520 --> 00:10:55.920 of their policies. We use about 1.8 million barrels of oil 119 00:11:23.920 --> 00:11:27.840 a day averaged over the year in California. We used to produce most of that here. Now it's down 120 00:11:27.840 --> 00:11:34.400 to about 250,000 or less. It's falling all the time. We're not using much less oil. The amount 121 00:11:34.400 --> 00:11:39.600 we're using is about the same as it always was. What's the difference? We're importing it.
