And so they're in bondage, they're in slavery, 69 00:07:17.680 --> 00:07:24.160 they're not really happy about what's going on going on. Matter of fact, in one of the scriptures 70 00:07:24.640 --> 00:07:31.280 in Jeremiah 30, the chapter right before, he says, do men give birth to babies? So he says, why are you bowed over like a woman 72 00:07:37.120 --> 00:07:43.600 who is giving birth to a baby? Because the people were in agony. And God is like, yeah, you're in that condition because of what 74 00:07:48.320 --> 00:07:52.320 you did. But guess what? I'm not going to destroy you like the other nations. And then he talked about being born of the world of 91 00:09:40.400 --> 00:09:46.400 the spirit. And then he said, you know, then he said, make this statement. But you know, understand this scripture that we quote that we've 93 00:09:51.760 --> 00:09:59.200 memorized in Sunday school or if you went to Sunday school is really a statement in a conversation. 94 00:10:00.080 --> 00:10:05.120 So Jesus is talking back and forth with Nicodemus. And he's talking about the born again experience. 95 00:10:05.120 --> 00:10:12.560 And then he says, this is the basis of it for. And then in verse 17, which people don't memorize, he did not send his son 101 00:10:41.920 --> 00:10:46.080 into the world to condemn the world, but the world through him might be saved. The religious leaders 102 00:10:46.080 --> 00:10:51.440 of Israel at that time did not understand this. They understood Lord God. He said, I've never done that.
